My husband spoke to Dr. Liu he is an amazing Dr. Very kind and very patient with my husband who was in a car accident has a lot of mental health and physical issues. He made my husband comfortable and took time with him. We both came out of this 2 hour appointment feeling a little overwhelmed with how kind he was. Some doctors make you feel depressed he didn’t. Thank you Dr. Liu. . Definitely would recommend him to anyone suffering mental health issues . Very easy to speak to.

Dr Liu was fabulous to work with. He is so kind and really listened to what I was saying. When he explained my diagnoses he told me that it's actually a blessing. After 50 years I finally understand why I am the way that I am and will be able to develop strategies with my counselor to help me move forward.

Very professional yet warm enough to make you feel comfortable and make it easy for you to open up. Great experience and felt like the type of doctor that could really help.

DR. J. O’DOHERTY - GUELPH FAMILY HEALTH TEAM REVIEWS

I have a complex mental health condition that has changed in nature over the years with many traumatic events. He listens to my stories and then respects my desire not to repeat them...he keeps good notes and refers to them. When Dr. O had to take medical leave earlier this year I was devastated and felt alone. His "stand in", Dr. Patricia Nolan insisted on a full 2-hour psych evaluation of my condition before agreeing to continue the medications prescribed by Dr. O'doherty...which worked well. Because of my fatigue in repeating accounts of trauma to my GP, MH counselor, Women in Crisis counselor, and notably most uncomfortable....Dr. McGavin...who turned me down for a support group after interrogating rather than understanding me.... I did not want to establish rapport with yet another mental health practitioner. Despite not speaking with me, she had the audacity to question Dr. O's prescriptions as inappropriate and Recommended lowering doses. Thankfully, my GP and Counselor agreed I was maintaining well on my medications and due to my attachment and trust in Dr. O, agreed to disregard Dr. Nolan's weightless recommendations. There is no one as trustworthy, understanding and knowledgeable as Dr. O'doherty and the psychiatric profession is blessed to have him.

He is very friendly, intelligent, compassionate, and helpful. He is an asset to Guelph family health team. I feel blessed to be able to have the priviledge to see him. He has helped me alot in my life.

I love Dr. O’Doherty. He’s been so helpful in my PPD and I couldn’t have asked for a better psychiatrist.

Dr. Clements is kind, caring, easy to talk to and very professional. She has been and continues to be a very big help to me. I’m so glad that my GP referred me to her. She’s wonderful!

Her nurse is great and she sees people for a first appointment for a decent amount of time over an hour. Also agree she does not work at homewood, sometimes hard to get a hold of but I imagine she is busy.

She is so kind, calm and perfect. She helped me to control my depression.
