“Dr. Tim Guthrie graduated with honours from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in 1996, completing internships at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida and Jackson State Prison in Michigan. After five years with a private ophthalmology practice in Ludington, Michigan, Dr. Guthrie joined The Henry Ford Health System as Director of Clinical Services for the Downriver Supervision Center. He opened Guthrie Optometry in Riverside to serve the Windsor/Essex community. Dr. Guthrie emphasizes a patient-centred approach, prioritizing communication, thoroughly explaining diagnoses, and empowering patients in their vision and ocular health decisions. He serves on the board of directors for Transition to Betterness and the Windsor Yacht Club, and he is a longstanding member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Ontario Association of Optometrists. Currently, he practices in Guthrie Optometry. The clinic is equipped with the latest technology. The eyecare team possesses strong medical optometry knowledge to assist patients in achieving optimal vision and eye health.”
