Excellent experience. Explained to me about the injury and it's future repercussions including possibility of development of arthritis. Provided me with advise to reduce the likelihood of arthritis with avoidance of high impact activities of running, keeping my weight in a certain range and do low impact exercises like swimming. Thanks Doc for your insight and eye into the future and looking after my benefit in the long term.

Excellent Doctor. Dr Riaz is so very personable, very knowledgeable and a very excellent surgeon. I couldn't be more pleased with the results of a recent hip replacement.

Dr Jena completed my triple anchor shoulder rebuild following a work injury. His incredible knowledge and skill is matched only by his genuine care and impeccable bedside manner. Although completely unrelated to his practice, I also tip my hat to his views on social injustices and proper funding and resources for our Health Care system.

Dr. Jena has done my ankle surgery and saw me for my shoulder injury. He is informative and was able to make a referral for my shoulder. He explained my injury in a way that was understandable and I had such a great experience with Dr. Jena as my doctor.

Dr. Jena just did my knee replacement and did an amazing job. He is such a smart, knowledgeable specialist with a kind nature and takes the time to explain everything. I consider myself so blesses to have the best Ortho Surg in Medicine Hat. His office asst, Allison, is also very helpful and patient.

Over a number of years I have seen Dr. Jena for shoulder problems. Years ago he did a decompression and debridement on both shoulders and recently a total replacement on my left shoulder. The operation was relatively painless and my recovery was well within a month after surgery. He is a very caring doctor and always does a personal follow-up to see how you are doing. At the age of 74, my new shoulder has given me the strength and mobility I had twenty years ago. Remarkable surgeon........Thankyou. - JW Reply
