“Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo was established, initially as the Dominion Forest Nursery Station and later as the Sutherland Forest Nursery Station. WESTERN DEVELOPMENT MUSEUM REVIEWS

It was a great experience for me to visit here. I got a solid idea about evolvement of the civilization here in Saskatchewan. All home appliances, agricultural instruments, clothing, offices, all are displaced there. The environment is very nice for the visitor, specially for a family. They have family package for ticket and individual as well. There is a cafe also to taste Canadian local food. They video display center and fun house, I enjoyed most. Anyone can visit there to get detail history for Wetern development.

Amazing place for a family visit. We went on a weekday. So it was less crowdy. A perfect combination of history and modernity. My kids enjoyed the moving train section. had a great time. One best thing for my parents- there were many benches inside the museum in different places. So they had enough spaces to sit and walk as they had problem with walking. My friends bought some souvenirs. Will love to visit again.

Such a great experience! The place is HUGE! Save some time to visit! Everything is interactive, there's sound effects, audio descriptions, they actually build a road with the original buildings, staff is absolutely fantastic Diane was at the front and she was so kind! Thank you!

SASKATOON FORESTRY FARM PARK & ZOO REVIEWS

Such a great place to spend a few hours! Convenient location with lots of parking, affordable admission, picnic areas, clean washrooms, concession available, playground located in the middle of the zoo for kids to burn off energy! The park is always so well kept and clean. Nice to see staff members around if you have any questions or concerns. One of favorite places to visit in Saskatoon!

The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park is such a beautiful place to behold. The environment is so cool and is a very good place for relaxation. It's also good for picnics with a wide place for children to run around. The McDonald's Play Ground is so well equipped good enough for the Children to exercise themselves without being tired. It also a good place to hold Children's Birthday parties. There is also a zoo on the other side though I've not been there.

Always a fun time no matter how old you are. Definitely best to go on a cooler, somewhat cloudy day for the animals to be out and about. Lots of fun with a little one for them explore and learn. They have good prices for the cafe food and snacks as well. Overall, I've gone over five times now and have enjoyed it each time. Plan to be a couple hours to just wonder around looking at everything.

A very interesting place to visit! There is a large collection of art to view from local artists to international collections as well. It is a very cool place to check out if you're just looking to clear your mind and spend some time in a different atmosphere. The art pieces all around the museum were beautiful!

Wow! A big airy space where you have room to breathe and appreciate the great collection and gift shop. The rooftop space is also phenomenal and we were lucky to do rooftop painting there.

Excellent art museum. Great combination between local and international artists. Of particular note is the strong representation of Inuit artists. Worth visiting.
