I was pleased to see that the Museum was open all day for Canada 150. There were a lot of people on the street and in the park across the road. Many people took the time to visit the Museum. I overheard people saying that they were happy to learn about the museum and the history of Welland and Pelham. The kids seemed to be having a great time. Best of all the Museum was there and available to support a wonderful community event.

Had an excellent time at Wings of the World this morning! The owner personally showed us around and introduced us to each bird (not just the species, almost every bird has a nickname). The owner was so very kind; she made the atmosphere relaxed and peaceful. Would love to go back and just hang out with the gorgeous birds again.
