Spent two hours and could have spent many more. The exhibits were well done and the information shared provided insight up to the point of First Nation sacred heritage. The word choices on the panels, the importance of passing things on to the children and the dance demonstration gave me a deeper understanding. Going outdoors, only did the Trail of Discovery (30 minutes) and at each spot, there was placard with excellent information. Highly recommend visiting and it was truly a peaceful place.
An incredible experience. Bring bug spray and water if you plan to hike the trails - they have water fill stations inside. It was so beautiful with the river view and watching the grass in the wind. I would plan to spend at least 3 hours if you're going to have lunch, see the exhibits, walk the trails and visit the playground.
Awesome place! Wonderful exhibits & even better snowshoeing (which is included in the entrance fee). It is soon to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll worth the visit any time of year.
