Darren Woodruff is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. He received degrees in Linguistics and Biology at the University of Calgary prior to his Doctorate degree at Midwestern University. He completed a 3-year surgical residency at the Ohio State University Medical Center. He completed hundreds of surgical procedures and received extensive training in wound care. During his training, he completed rotations in trauma surgery, vascular surgery, internal medicine, rheumatology, endocrinology, radiology, pathology, dermatology, infectious disease, plastic surgery, and emergency medicine. Darren Woodruff has published articles on diabetic limb salvage and osteomyelitis. He serves as a board member for the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association. He is also fluent in both Thai and Laotian.
