“The Battlefields Park is a favourite local spot for running, picnicking, skating, skiing, and snowshoeing. The park hosts open-air summer concerts and Winter Carnival festivals. The park has huge open spaces for jogging, hiking, and practicing sports. The Battlefields Park's art galleries, gardens, nature walks, and more make it an easy place to spend a day. “Domaine de Maizerets has over 27 hectares of land. The park is a historic site with many paths that guide visitors through wild and landscaped natural environments. The park also has walking trails, swimming (summer), snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and skating (winter). The park also contains beautiful flowers, animals and forests. Families and children can enjoy the picnic at Domaine de Maizerets, and a playground for kids is also available. It is an ideal meeting spot for families and enthusiasts of scientific recreation and the outdoors. The park is loved by people for walking, bird watching, picnics, wedding receptions, and bicycling. Visit the park and have a nice walk along with nature.

2025 Update: Domaine de Maizerets is owned by the Quebec National Capital Commission. The park offers 11 kilometres of walking trails. Bird watchers and locals frequently visit the park for its beautiful oasis of nature, which is located inside an urban area. Access to the park is free and is regulated by the Quebec City by-laws.”

“Parc Victoria has many greenery flowers, evergreen plants, trees of various kinds, and grassy grounds. This park also provides tennis, skateboarding, basketball, soccer, volleyball and hockey facilities. This is an excellent place for children to discover nature and exercise their imagination. You can easily spend an entire day here, having a session on each ramp in the Skatepark. The park has a splash pad where children enjoy the entire day. The park makes the entire environment clean and fresh. Parc Victoria is a great place for a picnic or outdoor activities.

2025 Update: Parc Victoria is a large urban park and is named in honour of Queen Victoria in commemoration of her 60th birthday.”

THE BATTLEFIELDS PARK REVIEWS

Free access to the park. Monuments, interpretation plaques, outdoor activities ($) (treasure hunt, outdoor escape games) and indoor (museum, escape game, exhibition at the Martello 1 tower in summer) and sporadic events (early battlefields September, a must! Restrooms: Public toilets accessible in several places in the park.

Beautiful wide spaces, perfect for a picnic in the sun or in the shade. Amenities nearby. Restrooms: Buildings not too far away with public toilets. Picnic area: Lots of tables available and movable.

Very beautiful place visited unfortunately I don't have any photos taken at the moment but I can tell you this during my long walk for cancer I stopped there to take a break and the place is magnificent.

Super nice place! But the amount of parking is really paltry. We had a great picnic. Playground: Beautiful play area. The maze is fantastic. Restrooms: Accessible toilet. Picnic area: Beautiful picnic area under the trees.

Great outdoor place with many tables to share a meal (wine and beer allowed) with friends or family bring your bbq and have a good time :).

Gorgeous!! We love this park, but where is the place for the butterflies? What happened?.

PARC VICTORIA REVIEWS

Very well laid out park, wheelchair accessible, family-friendly and offering varied facilities: soccer field, skateboard ramps, basketball court, volleyball, etc. The trails are paved, which makes traveling easier. Using Google Maps it is easy to navigate the vast expanse of the park. Playground: There are play areas for children and for skateboarding, basketball, soccer, beach volleyball, etc. There are mini soccer fields and others of regular size. Picnic area: There are many picnic tables. People bring small portable barbecues there.

Water games, lots of soccer field, large space to relax with magnificent large trees, picnic table, baseball field, playground for young and old. Skate park, mini amphitheater, tennis court. Accessible toilet.

Very good park, life is good there, several fields for all sports and very pretty landscapes in summer.
