“Garden City Community Park and Arboretum is an excellent picnic spot located in Richmond. The park encompasses 23.76 acres of parkland. The park has an Arboretum in the northwest corner, which includes species endemic to Asia/Oceania and those native to the Americas, particularly from regions with a Pacific coastline. The park features over 100 tree species from around the Pacific Rim. Various walking paths are throughout the park, including around the lake's perimeter and over wide bridges.
