Terra Nova Adventure Play Environment offers immersive natural walks among farms, gardens, and gorgeous panoramas of the Salish Sea. The park's unique adventure playground and various tranquil rest areas make it a great destination. The park ensures that this unique play environment continues to be safe and fun. The play area features are made of ropes, yellow cedar wood, and other materials that resemble nature. Terra Nova Adventure Play Environment boasts 35-meter-long tandem ziplines, a twisting stainless steel hillside slide, rolling hills for hopping, skipping, and bounding down, and a meadow maze. The park is also used for many other activities, such as the Raptor Festival and Raptor Program, the 8th Annual Garlic Festival, Terra Nova Camping Program, and Terra Nova Schoolyard Program for preschool and elementary school-age students. This park is easily accessible by car from various parts of Metro Vancouver, with parking available on-site.

2025 Update: The park provides an excellent habitat for birds and other wildlife in the area. Its facilities include three portable toilets and picnic benches.

Minoru Park is a peaceful haven surrounded by lush greenery, serene ponds, and winding paths. The place is quiet for people of all ages to enjoy nature. Richmond's School District 38 uses the park's running track for sports competitions like track and field. Important places like Minoru Arenas, Minoru Track, Minoru Aquatic Centre, and the Richmond Cultural Centre are nearby. This cultural center houses the Richmond Public Library, City of Richmond Archives, Richmond Art Gallery, and Richmond Museum, providing many services to the community. Visitors relax with their families because of the natural environment.

2025 Update: Minoru Park is home to the city's cultural and community services. The Park was one of the first major aviation hubs in Western Canada.

Garden City Community Park is an excellent picnic spot that encompasses 23.76 acres of parkland. The park has an Arboretum in the northwest corner, which includes species endemic to Asia/Oceania and those native to the Americas, particularly from regions with a Pacific coastline. The park features over 100 tree species from around the Pacific Rim. Various walking paths are throughout the park, including around the lake's perimeter and over wide bridges. The park offers many beautiful vantage points, picnic areas, and seating opportunities. The bike terrain is designed to appeal to riders of all ages and skill levels. A beautiful lake area with large bridges and culverts enhances your visit, making it more pleasant.

2025 Update: Garden City Community Park's all-ages playground promotes healthy social interaction as well as cognitive and physical development, offering traditional play features alongside more natural elements.
