“Broadmoor Lake Park has year-round and seasonal facilities available to the public. The park has five picnic tables, a large fire pit, a counter space with sink or running water, three sand volleyball courts, two sports fields, a wall handball court and a shale running track. The park hosts many events throughout the year, including Canada Day celebrations, New Year's Eve celebrations, and a celebration of lights. The park also features a spray park, which children love and enjoy. Broadmoor Lake Park is perfect for a picnic on a sunny day, and a picnic shelter is also available for rent for group events. Broadmoor Lake Park has plenty of bicycle racks and parking areas available, including wheelchair accessibility and access to power and washrooms.

“Centennial Park has a fire pit in the centre of the shelter, two picnic tables under the canopy adjacent to the playground, and picnic sites. The park also has baseball diamonds and trails linking to Millennium Place. Centennial Park has outdoor fitness equipment, event conducting areas, covered picnic shelters and a kids' playing zone. Centennial Park is a comfortable place to conduct many functions. The picnic tables and cookstoves are available at a nice distance from the play area. You can cook and watch the kids at the same time. This park has walking trails and restroom facilities. Centennial Park has lots of parking spaces.”

“2025 Update: Sherwood Heights Park is set on sand and surrounded by green spaces for you and your family to enjoy. It features benches and picnic tables throughout the park. The playground includes two main structures with slides, a large swing set, and an "Imagination Station" with a café counter, finger maze, and a sensory panel. Additional equipment includes a dome climber, teeter-totter, dish spinner, and spring rider. The playground is located next to the Sherwood Heights Park Pickleball Courts and outdoor rink. Many of their parks are wheelchair accessible and feature specialized equipment to enhance your visit.”

BROADMOOR LAKE PARK REVIEWS

Awesome Park for all ages. My friend (35yr) had fun sliding down the big slide. The splash park is one of the best we had been visiting this year. Extra star for the washroom, located inside the arena, nice and cool to hide away from the heat if you need to. Restrooms: Located inside the arena, clean and tidy. Picnic area: Picnic able on top of the little hill with few made shades.

Very nice place to have a walk and pass family time. There are lot of benches and food tables to have your own meals here to get a picnic vibe.

When it sizzling hot in Edmonton, make your way to Sherwood Park this spray park is absolutely a fun filled day.

Strathcona County continues to provide so many amazing amenities. Baseball diamonds for league play, a fully functional kitchen for fundraisers, washrooms, outhouses, plenty of parking, trails, a playground, and a Picnic Shelter with a wood-burning stove to rent through the county. GREAT PLACE TO RENT FOR BIRTHDAY PARTIES ... THE PRICE IS RIGHT.

Popular with dog walkers - a beautiful area within Sherwood Park to spend an early morning with your pups! Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs and their humans enjoying an early morning wander by the pond.

Beautiful large park with for exercising, barbecue spots and playground for children.
