The carousel is a timeless attraction connecting past, present, and future generations. Lakeside Park has a snack bar, volleyball courts, walking trails, and playground equipment. Lakeside Park is a great place to have fun with family and friends. Kids can enjoy the park, which makes the visitors revisit the park. The park has ample parking and well-maintained washrooms.

“Montebello Park features a commemorative rose garden with over 1,300 bushes in 25 varieties, the city's most extensive rose collection, and an ornamental fountain. The park also has a pavilion and playground equipment. Montebello Park is great for picnics, sporting activities, and hiking. The pavilion and band shell can be reserved for special occasions. The place has picnic tables, washrooms, and plenty of space with benches to sit and eat. The park is well-known for their lively antics during its annual Grape and Wine Festival. Montebello Park is an ideal place for kids and families to relax and enjoy.

LAKESIDE PARK REVIEWS

First time I really checked this park out. Large covered Pavillion area with dozens of picnic tables. Large beach is much bigger and nicer than I expected. Covered vintage carousel ride for the young kids looks pretty neat too. Paid parking is $3/hour by the way.

We throughly enjoyed Lakeside Park on CANADA DAY! Well organized celebrations on this particular weekend, including food vendors, stage performances , mini golf games, besides a nice. Beach. Overall, fantastic environment for families.

Beautiful place to visit with family. Parking at $9/3 hours. Beautiful sandy beach, park, old carousel in operation, children love it. Beautiful area to walk, I highly recommend this place.

Lovely green open space with beautiful trees 10 mins walk from downtown. Spent a gorgeous sunny afternoon with my family picnicking and snoozing under the tree. Nothing like Mother Nature to soothe you. Lovely little playground for kids and lots of garden seats and benches with playful squirrels running up for treats.

Great park lots of shade,I was there working a concert,Born & Raised. Playground: Looks new,lots for the kids. Restrooms: Yes they have restrooms. Picnic area: Seen picnic areas with tables.

What a great show and the park was fantastic. The clean up crew were there immediately after the last note was played. Restrooms: Port-a-potties.

It's a great park with swings, slides, and learning activities for kids. Definitely has play structures for kids of all ages. Public restrooms and the library bathrooms are available. Picnic benches are also there. I did 4 star only because during lunch time it gets busy with teens from the highschool and sometimes they aren't great at sharing the park with little kids. Playground: For all ages. Restrooms: Available. Picnic area: A few tables and a gazebo area to eat under.

Playground: I go to the library near here but took some time to check out the park. It's got a covered picnic area, great playground, tennis courts, benches and lots of lovely trees. A very pleasant spot inside a city to park yourself for half an hour to relax.

A wonderful place to spend time with kids, there's a covered picnic seating area. Splash pad on hot days attracts the kids. A good community place.
