Gorgeous park, lots of different areas connected by footpaths. It's like a park in a forest there are so many trees. Canadian geese love it here. Clean washrooms. Restaurant. Perfect for walking, picnicking, riding through on your bike. Playground, swimming pool.
My favorite park! Beautiful flower gardens and majestic towering trees that hug the Red River! Duck ponds and a great restaurant featuring local foods!!!
We drove around the park and got out to use the bathrooms and also visited the Hansel & Gretel witches hut, which looks cool.

ASSINIBOINE PARK REVIEWS
Amazing place to visit. Something to do for everyone. Very close to the Trans-Canada Highway so you can make quick stop to stretch legs and enjoy the beautiful park. Loved the different areas with very well maintained park infrastructure. I would definitely recommend visiting different attractions in the park.
It’s a really nice place to enjoy. You can rent cycles and roam around, chill near the red river, enjoy Sargent sundae ice cream, visit the museum that’s near by. It’s an amazing place to have camps and enjoy with family and friends.
Absolutely huge park with lots of open spaces. Though we didn't go to the zoo, I've heard very good things about it. The Leaf is new and is a very interesting place to go. There's also an old steam locomotive as a stationary exhibit in the park.

ST. VITAL PARK REVIEWS
This park is a perfect place for community outdoor events and family gatherings. In addition to duck pond, walking trails, play grounds, and BBQ sites, it has some huge lawns and play courts for large group activities. We had a community event there on this weekend with a great turnout. We had various games and tents and many families did activities together and had a great time. I’m very happy that we have this big beautiful park in the south Winnipeg.
First time visiting this park. It’s got a duck pond, botanical garden, running path, kids play structure. Great day for the kids.
Lovely playground, nice and attractive picnic areas, adequate car park. Nice place to visit.
