Great space for the whole family. You’ll find trails, fields, lake, playground. My 3 years old loves to walk in the forest and they have the perfect trail for him: flat and without many obstacles and is stroller friendly, what makes the perfect place for a family walk when you also have a baby like us. The playground area it’s also amazing, well maintained and safe.
The largest park in Coquitlam is definitely Mundy Park. It is very popular for some reasons. -Large scale of forests and two small lakes, Mundy Lake and Lost Lake. -Well-designed and well-maintained. Various functional areas for outdoor activities, such as sports fields, hiking trails, playground and outdoor swimming pool etc. -Dog friendly. There are clear instructions on signs, which trail or area needed on-leash, which one is off-leash. The red line trails are dog prohibited. -Abundance of parking spots. Different entrances for options. Wheelchair-accessible. -Great experience.
Awesome forest park with 2 lakes and lots of trails, mostly flat to gently inclined and gravel paved. Tall trees provide shading on hot summer days. Occasional black bear sightings.
