Wear good shoes for walking as parking is spread out and difficult to park close sometimes. Oh, and the goose and swan poop! A blanket you don't mind getting dirty/poopy is best for sitting or your own chairs. Absolutely beautiful to picnic and relax, take photos, paint, and read a book. Do not feed the swans and geese. Bad for them and bad for you.
So much to do and see in Stratford, I can imagine it's natural beauty in all four seasons in the park. If you are looking for a beautiful garden, river, peace, quiet and tranquility you will find it all here. Pack a picnic basket and enjoy the day, live life and love yourself.
Beautiful park. Great for the who family. Young and older alike. Large picnic area as well as theaters nearby. Stopped for lunch at Romeos Café. Great coffee.
