One of our favourite places in the city! Absolutely love the owner and all the staff there. Food is delicious, lots of options for beer on tap, local breweries, incredible live music, drag brunches, pool tables, dart boards, and more. Amazing patio in the summer which often expands for special events in the Exchange/Old Market Square. HIGHly recommend this place…and often!

Great family outing. Reservation process was simple and a table was waiting for us when we arrived. Service was attentive and we were made to feel welcome. Food was delicious and beer was cold. Wonderful experience as usual.

A fantastic pub with great drink specials, exceptional food and live music. We loved the age variance and fun we had.

FIONN MACCOOL’S RESTAURANT PUB REVIEWS

I always love when a restaurant has a vegan menu (ask for it) and even better, is when the food tastes great as well! Lovely atmosphere and servers, most recently we had the Phish Tacos and Garden Burger with Cauliflower Wings to start, all very yummy and super filling. We substituted the reg fries for Sweet Potato Fries and also chose the Mushroom Soup for sides, both excellent for pub food. Big screens are everywhere if you want to watch a game and the large, heated and covered patio mean you can bring your dog and be outside even if it starts raining. Oh, and they have a good drink selection too. Vegetarian options: Full vegan menu.

I have one regret, that I didn't try the vegan Blarney chips long before! I'm obsessed! So delicious! The cauliflower wings are also delicious and a regular order when I visit. Also had two vegan mains that were so tasty. The one thing I really appreciate about Fionn's is that I can always expect a great experience, there's consistently fantastic food, friendly, knowledgeable service, and a good atmosphere. I will be back.

We had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. The beer was nice and cold. I would definitely come back and recommend to others !

We visited this local establishment because it was a short walk from home. What a surprise! A diverse selection of beer with a compact menu. We shared the lamb sandwich and were so impressed with the taste. It was perfect and HUGE! There appeared to be other locals that stopped in for a drink, snack or dinner, a true indicator of the quality. Highly recommend!!

A perfect afternoon; Champions League Football, an excellent IPA, wonderful fish & chips (asked for a half portion of hand-cut chips), a brilliant Aussie shiraz to accompany an excellent mushroom soup. And only crumbs of a delightful carrot cake left for cleanup. The Grove pleases in so many ways.

Was in town with family and stumbled into this little gem. Food was great, quick and service was fast. Got recommended a couple dishes that did not disappoint.
