A great local bakery and it’s a GEM. They have a good selection of baked goodies which are all baked in house. They also offer a variety of fresh made soups and sandwiches. The unique flavour and texture hits all the high notes and much more.Their staffs are friendly and their passion for baked goods shows in the quality and taste.Support this local business and treat your tastebuds at the same time.

First time here. Tried the turkey sandwich on the roasted pumpkin seed bun. It was fresh, tasted good, and had a nice crunch. I highly recommend giving it a try. I also tried some sweets (black & white cookie, jam buster donut, train track etc.) and pretzels which were also very good with homemade ingredients. This location is neat as you can see the bakers as they work through a window. I would go to this bakery again.

Crusty Buns offers the best buns and bread in Manitoba, making me feel right at home like I'm back in Germany. The workers are incredibly friendly, and the breakfast is awesome. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic, delicious bakery items!

The hot cross buns and Easter bread where first rate in quality and taste but were rather expensive. I expect many small businesses will raise prices to come back from near oblivion over two shutdowns. And we are not finished yet. Your staff did a honorable job managing the Covid-19 rules despite ignorant Winnipeg customers crowding each other to look over the display items. Today a couple of women came to near blows over body space. What I find amusing is despite a year of Covid-19 rules some people just don’t get it.

We stop here weekly for the best fresh bread and always pick up pastries or other treats at the same time. Everything has been excellent. We've picked up special occasion cakes here and each one has been beautiful. The staff at A l'Epi de Ble are all wonderful... I could go on...

Always have the best baked goods here! I am especially a big fan of the éclairs au chocolat and the petit pain au chocolat aux amandes. The atmosphere is really cozy and the staff are quite kind. If you want to imagine you are in a bakery in France, this is the place to go!

LA BELLE BAGUETTE REVIEWS

I live in Minnesota, but I fully intend on making a trip back to Winnipeg just to get my hands on another almond croissant. It was superb. Because my family of 3 is ambitious when it comes to pastries, we tried the: plain croissant, almond croissant, Nutella croissant, maple tart, blueberry danish, carmel roll, and coffee. A lot, I know, but — we walked a few miles to/from the bakery and knew this would be a highlight of our first trip to Winnipeg (it was indeed a highlight). Everything was so good and our anticipation was so high that I forgot to get “before” pics. Whoops. The croissants were just right, the maple tart had that pure, Canadian maple taste, and the coffee was smooth. We will be back and we fully intend to try sandwiches for lunch next time.

First, I want to apologize to La Belle Baguette and their owners and staff. The review I left was not intended for this establishment and was for a different location. I'm not sure why the review was placed on this but I have a feeling it was because I was looking for a place to go to instead of the place I originally was reviewing. Once again, my apologies to the owners and staff at La Belle Baguette and look forward to coming down and enjoying your selection of pastries and croissants.!

One of the gems in the neighbourhood. My favourite stop almost everyday. The tarts are to die for. Bread is fantastic. Staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Great place for mid morning snack or lunch. Tables outside to enjoy the neighbourhood.
