“Dr. Mayank Goyal is a professor in the Department of Radiology and Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Calgary. His passion and main research interests are acute stroke imaging, workflow, and intervention. Dr. Mayank Goyal has led and continues to lead efforts in evidence-based medicine through worldwide randomized controlled trials. He has been involved in several successful CIHR and HSF grants. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, the Canadian Association of Radiology, the American Heart Association, and the European Stroke Organization. Dr. Mayank Goyal has received Lifetime Contributions to Research awards from the Canadian Association of Radiology and the American Society of Neuroradiology. He has developed a modern approach to acute stroke imaging called multiphase CT angiography.
