“Dr. Mayank Goyal is a professor in the Department of Radiology and Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Calgary. His passion and main research interests are acute stroke imaging, workflow, and intervention. Dr. Mayank Goyal has led and continues to lead efforts in evidence-based medicine through worldwide randomized controlled trials. He has been involved in several successful CIHR and HSF grants. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, the Canadian Association of Radiology, the American Heart Association, and the European Stroke Organization. Dr. Mayank Goyal has received Lifetime Contributions to Research awards from the Canadian Association of Radiology and the American Society of Neuroradiology. He has developed a modern approach to acute stroke imaging called multiphase CT angiography.

2025 Update: Dr. Mayank Goyal has authored 285 peer-reviewed manuscripts (including publications in NEJM, Lancet Neurology, Radiology, Circulation, AJNR, and Stroke), over 35 editorials and opinion pieces, more than 300 abstracts, and has delivered over 200 invited lectureships.”

You're lucky if this man is on call when a loved one needs it. Best of the best. Not only is he incredibly skilled and knowledge but he provided incredible clinical followup with us the day after the procedure.

He is VERY good at what he does. When you're having an acute medical emergency, you're lucky if he is on call. Very good clinical followup on wards afterward as well.

Excellent follow-up with us on wards after my aunt's endovascular procedure. Calgary is luck to have him.

I was in for upper GI imaging. The check-in was efficient and there was a short wait time. The gowns were in good condition, and the changing rooms were clean. The technicians were very professional and efficient. All in all, it was a smooth experience.

Dr. Davies treated me for headaches using botox. Great professional manner, and seemed very knowledgable in regards to Thoracic outlet treatment.

This is the radiologist you want doing your injections. Excellent patient care.
