"Gregory Kozak graduated from the University of Alberta’s medical program and completed his residency at the University of Alberta in 1997. He has completed further education in minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery. He has held various leadership roles, including President of the Urology Section of the Alberta Medical Association. Currently, he serves as the Chief of Surgery at Rockyview General Hospital and Deputy Section Lead for Urology in Calgary. Dr. Kozak initiated the robotics program at Rockyview General Hospital. His clinical focus is on urologic robotic surgery, kidney surgery, prostate surgery, and the emerging role of MRI in the management of prostate cancer. He is a specialist in minimally invasive and robotic surgical urology. I was referred to Dr. Duffy by my family Dr. when it was confirmed by CT scan that I had a tumor on my kidney. I waited about 4 weeks to see him, the waiting is the hardest part of course. He was very calming and answered my questions and was able to get me scheduled 3 weeks after for a partial nephrectomy. His office staff are pleasant and efficient and if I call with a request it is dealt with right away. I will be good friend with Dr. Duffy for 5 years as I have an annual CT to keep an eye on my kidneys. If you are lucky enough to be referred to him, I think you will find he is an amazing human being as well as a skilled surgeon who is great with following up with his patients.

I know I will be in great hands for the next 10 years as I get my annual check up after surgery. I love his upbeat personality and he takes time to make me feel comfortable Also if I need to be operated on againI am tremendously glad I have him as my Doctor. Thank you Dr. Duffy for your care and patience.You are a great Doctor.

Dr. Duffy treated me for prostate cancer. I felt very comfortable that he was the best surgeon for me. He has good bedside manner and was informative on all my questions and took his time to educate me on the procedure.

One word to describe Dr. Kozak ... 'MIRACLE'. Dr. Kozak is compassionate, has excellent bedside manner, he knows what he is doing and cares ! I was blessed to have him to do my kidney stone surgery. In talking with the Staff earlier today to set up my follow up, they are very professional, worked with me to get a time that would work with my work schedule. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to Dr. K and his staff.

'From my initial appointment with Dr. Kozak I found him to be knowledgeable and very straight forward. I have had a very good recovery after surgery on Nov. 16 and I believe it was due to his surgical skills. All of my interactions with him have been positive and supportive.

Excellent surgeon. Great communicator. Did my prostatectomy several years ago with the DaVinci robot. I would highly recommend this surgeon, the robot and the follow-up. I remain completely satisfied after all these years and wish Dr. Kozak all the very best.

He is very quick to figure out what the issue is and referred me to another Dr very fast. Can't say enough wonderful things about Dr get to and the staff at the Rockyview. I highly recommend him. I feel so incredibly fortunate that my urologist referred me to Dr. Gotto for a second opinion. I could not have found a better surgeon. Best in Calgary for Urology and he also specializes in Oncology. He is trained in robotic surgeries. You want to be treated by Dr. Gotto. I'm so happy to be a patient of his.
