“UFV Athletic and Recreation Centre is locally owned and operated in Abbotsford and surrounding BC. The 21,500-square-foot gymnasium on the UFV Abbotsford campus (Building E) opened in 2007 and features retractable seating for up to 1,500 spectators. The main south gym is the home court for the Cascades basketball, volleyball, and wrestling programs. The UFV's venue size enables it to host major events, tournaments, and multi-sport games. Specifically, the basketball court within the venue provides seating for 1,700 spectators, while an additional court accommodates 350 individuals.
