“Oak Ridges Community Centre and Pool features a 56,000 sq ft facility, a six-lane, 25-meter leisure pool with a waterslide, beach-entry teaching tank, change rooms, a sauna, a 7,000 sq ft gymnasium, an entire culinary facility, and two general program rooms. The centre offers a variety of recreational activities, programs, leagues, and classes suitable for adults. The gym and the pool receive a lot of sunlight, making the whole place comfortable and modern. There are some nice pathways outside that lead to the lake and plenty of parking. Oak Ridges Community Centre and Pool's facility has an exposed wood beam ceiling, giving the facility a sustainable West Coast aesthetic. They offer free Wi-Fi spots.

2025 Update: The family change room for the swimming pool is on the larger side as well compared to other community centers around the area.”

“Bayview Hill Community Centre and Pool has a 25-meter-long main pool with five lanes, a shotgun waterslide, and a large viewing gallery with seating. Bayview Hill Community Centre provides a variety of educational programs. There is an indoor pool, a tennis court, a gym, and other amenities. The park outside has a play area for toddlers and kids and a basketball court. The centre has a variety of swim programs for all ages, as well as lifesaving and leadership programs for teens. Bayview Hill Community Centre and Pool is fully accessible, with ramps in both pools, free Wi-Fi spots, built-in benches, and a whale slide.

Elgin West Community Centre and Pool offers children various leisure activities. The centre has a variety of swim programs for all ages and lifesaving and leadership programs for teens. Elgin West Community Centre and Pool has universal change rooms and pools. The coin lockers are available at all aquatic facilities. The centre facility has an indoor pool, basketball court, and meeting rooms that are clean and well-maintained. The center hosts community events, programs, and opportunities to develop knowledge.

OAK RIDGES COMMUNITY CENTRE AND POOL REVIEWS

Such a peaceful place. Clean and well kept external and internal amenities. Staff are so friendly as well. Decently priced fitness memberships and the gym has a great variety of machines and equipment. Note- Parking is expensive if you aren’t a resident of Richmond Hill ($4/hr) but there is street parking within a 10-15 minute walk. Just walking to the centre is so peaceful. Be sure to take a walk along the lake as well!

We have been to this venue a number of times and rented it once ourselves for a party. It's a nice new building with a great location and great view of the lake. Parking is good, washrooms are good. I recommend it if you're thinking about using it. Just a note on parking, You have to PAY to park there. $4 an hour, 7 days a week, until 11:30 p.m. If not, the ticket is a $60 fine. Some received one yesterday.

We had the pleasure of hosting another children birthday party. The space was very clean and beautiful. After the party we had the opportunity to visit Lake Wilcox which is located behind the centre. The neighbourhood is absolutely stunning.

BAYVIEW HILL COMMUNITY CENTRE AND POOL REVIEWS

Large pool area. There is a separate shallow pool for younger kids which is great! They can become comfortable in the water at their own pace. The small pool is big enough for you to take your little ones in and have room for other kids to splash and play. The little whale slide is great as well. Didn't try out the larger pool but it was very spacious. Many lifeguards on duty as well.

Great community center and pool. Most of the people that come here are of Asian ethnicity mainly as a result of the location. However, it is nonetheless a fantastic place with a great atmosphere. Asides from the pool there are also multiple gymnasiums as well as an actual gym with lower rates compared to nearby gyms.

Very helpful staff, clean, organized, equipments are clean and new. more then sufficient sitting area and very user friendly.

ELGIN WEST COMMUNITY CENTRE AND POOL REVIEWS

Great friendly staff. The building looks old but it could be because there is not that much of natural lighting. The people who swim in the pool are not that clean or lets say they have the habit of spitting and cleaning their nose in the water. The water is not clear as how it should be again it could be due to the lack of lighting.

The public swim times are very convenient, and the lifeguard staff are very nice and courteous! They make sure everyone is following the rules, which makes me feel better about the safety of my little guy. Definitely recommend!

his is a great community centre with a nice pool and a great basketball court. They have a good drop-in system and also offer a variety of programs for adults. You can also get a variety of lifesaving courses at this community centre.
