3 Best Residential Architects in Toronto, ON

We have the distinct privilege of working with Solares on many of their projects. As an efficiency professional I’ve seen more exciting techniques and building methods in the last 2 years working with Solares than I have in my 14 years of testing new and existing houses. What’s different about Solares As if creating a beautiful space to live in weren’t enough of a challenge, this firm has a laser focus on measuring and improving their energy performance. The team at Solares boldly has their work physically inspected and tested by a 3rd party energy performance company and they take the time to analyse and improve weaknesses. I believe this architecture firm sees themselves as guardians of their client’s long term interest.

Solares designed our house for us. It was a seamless experience from start to finish. Their consultative approach made everything easy, and the result was better than we had hoped. We've now lived on the house for 3 years, and are loving every minute.

Memar Architects helped guide us through a challenging project. We desired to sever the back 1/3 of two lots in order to form a 3rd lot. Though the City of TO is in desperate need of additional housing the process of developing additional sites for building is complex and challenging. Memar (specifically Mercedeh, Lucy and team) guided us through a long process of planning the severance, obtaining approval from the Building and Zoning Departments, Committee of Adjustment, Urban Forestry, neighbours. They were knowledgeable, skilled and very patient. There is now a house being built on what was a large backyard.

Excellent customer service and design! I am very glad that Memar Architects helped me with my house design and building permit path. There is no way I could have done it without them! Professional staff, patience, helpful and always willing to hear. I strongly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an architect firm to design their house in Toronto or GTA.

The design was great! Exactly what I envisioned. The architect steered me in the right direction giving me good pointers along the way. Well experienced team. Highly recommend to anyone looking to design/build their future home.
