CHATEAU DE CHAMPLAIN REVIEWS

Mom will be 90 this year and she has lived with family since dad died over 10 yrs ago. We were not sure how she would adjust but this has been a wonderful experience. I talk to Mom every weekend and she has nothing but good reports to share. Ice cream socials to happy hour with friends; there is something for everyone. The outgoing and the more reserved. Moms unit is perfect for her life now. She loves the balcony and is always watching out the window for deer. I am so happy she decided on Chateau de Champlaon. I would highly recommend it for good value, quality and outstanding care and attention for our loved ones.

This is a tremendous facility, with very professional and caring staff, excellent in-house amenities and service offerings, and endless planned activities and social events for all residents. The apartment quality is noteworthy; apartments are very comfortable, functional and very well maintained thanks to a weekly housekeeping service. Of particular note is the excellent dining service offering in the building; there are a great variety of very well prepared and nourishing meals served three times per day in a well appointed and comfortable dining room for all to enjoy. My father moved into the Chateau de Champlain this past October at the young age of 94 and thanks to all of the Chateau de Champlain staff, his fellow residents and the home care services provided by Kindred Home Care who have are located in the Chateau, his transition to apartment living has been a great experience to date. I would highly recommend the Chateau de Champlain for all seniors who are looking to transition to a comfortable, social and very well catered independent living environment.

The Château de Champlain is truly retirement living at its finest, including friendly caring staff, nutritious meals, many activities, housekeeping services and lifeline support. Mom is in a lovely bright apartment and feels safe and content. Thank you so much for making my Mom feel welcome!

PARKLAND SAINT JOHN REVIEWS

This past weekend I had been invited to give a power-point talk at Parkland Shannex for one of their regular Sunday afternoon events. I spent the Saturday night in the guest suite, and was treated like royalty during my stay. I cannot say enough good about the kindness, the hospitality, and the absolute luxury of this beautiful facility. The permanent residents know they are privileged, and it was a privilege and an honour to meet them. I felt as though I made at least a dozen instant friends amongst both the staff and the folks who live there. Everything was 5-star from the moment I arrived. All of the staff were helpful and gracious, and they did it all with such seeming ease. The meals served in the beautiful dining room were worthy of a luxury cruise liner, or a Paris restaurant. Kudos to you, Shannex Parkland, and thank you for everything!

My father lived there for seven months. They made sure he felt at home and kept me informed of all relevant information. Staff communication was excellent. They made sure to play his favourite tunes so he could dance because that is what he likes to do best. He loved the food, friends and the staff. It’s a wonderful warm place to put your mind at ease as loved ones require light support and a friendly community. Thanks for all the loving support to each and every one who were there for Dad at this point in his life journey. God bless!

Dobbelstyne care home is the best special care home here in Saint John. The owner are very accomodating and very nice. The staff are very pleasing and accommodating to the clients need. Surely will recommend Dobbelstyne Special Care Home to my friends.

Their staffs here are very kind and friendly. I saw the way they care and love their residents. So lovely place. This is the best home care in the heart of Saint John, NB. Great place to retire, best home to rest.
