THE SEWING CAFE REVIEWS

I took the beginner sewing class and had a lot of fun! While I found it very challenging since I had no prior experience, the instructors (Linda and Pat) were patient and friendly. I also was able to make a few different items (with a lot of support). These items boosted my confidence and I had some good laughs with my other classmates. My only critique would be that the class itself had a lot of content. I think it could have been spread out better over more weeks so that I could have practiced concepts that were taught. I would have also benefitted with some visual instructions/steps that I could follow after the demonstrations. These could have helped me work a bit more independently. Thanks Pat and Linda for getting me started on my sewing journey!

We had a wonderful experience with The Sewing Cafe. My child received a sewing machine as a gift, and with no experience, we signed up for the Sewing Machine 101 workshop. It was informative without being overwhelming, and we learned enough for her to come home and keep sewing away! Their patience and kindness was perfect for beginners. I would go back here again. It was great to be able to purchase some items to make projects with once we got home after our class.

I started with level 1 sewing class and was blown away how nice everyone is. I learned a lot of new tricks and re signed up for level 2. I find the price of classes is very well priced for all the projects you make in the 4 classes. I 100% recommend this shop for sewing supplies and classes.

Staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have also ordered online and was extremely pleased with the efficiency! This place is amazing!

Clean, organize, with a very impressive inventory, staff is helpful and knowledgeable, one of the best quilting stores in southern Ontario.

Top notch store. Quality fabrics. Wide variety of sewing and embroidery machines. Including a longarm machine! Warm and friendly atmosphere! Classes are fun too! I have learned so much from Melinda (owner). She is very knowledgeable. I could go on for days with positive things to say! Stop in some time and see for yourself.

I have been twice, and the owner is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Bought some fabric last time, good selection & great price. Looking forward to taking some of their classes.
