Today was an exceptional visit at Avalon north. I walked in, I was greeted immediately, only waited two minutes in the waiting room. My jacket was hung up. Holly was amazing as always! Absolutely love Holly, she always keeps the best conversation going and gives a great leg wax! After my appointment, I had to book my next few appointments as I have a tight availability and the girls were so accommodating and got me all booked in! Even asked my about my university etc.. overall great visit! Good job Avalon North!

I loved everything about my first visit to Avalon! The atmosphere was wonderful, clean and inviting. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I had been hesitant to go for any treatments (because of some recent health issues) but Julie was so patient and kind. She modified everything to make me feel relaxed and comfortable. Julie took such wonderful care of me and it was a beautiful experience from start to finish. Thanks, Julie and Thanks, Avalon!

Every time I have visited Salon - uptown it’s been a very friendly and welcoming place. My stylist, Hannah, is excellent! Highly skilled, great communicator and friendly. Always love my colour and versatile hair cuts from Hannah. Front desk staff are very friendly too. Everyone is attentive to their guests/clients.

Had another amazing appointment with Maddison, as always! She listens to her clients needs and never fails to follow through with great results. Her bright and friendly personality makes it easy to sit through lengthy appointments! The new location is gorgeous, with a great selection of products! Very impressed with the milkshake line up!

Probably was of the most friendly staff I've ever dealt with, this salon is spectacular! Very clean and open. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I have been wanting to find someone who can work with me to stylize my beard and hair. To work with my problem areas and find a style that fits my features, and who actually cares and is passionate about it. I am utterly thrilled at the results of what Thor has done for me. It is striking the increase of appreciation for myself by having my hair and beard done in a way that finally flatters my features. I finally have a go to stylist that understands my requests.

I can’t say enough about Thor! He welcomed me in as a new client Saturday. I was in desperate need of a cut and color. I went in for a consultation at 3, and he offered to cut and color immediately! My hair turned out even better that I’d hoped. It’s absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much, Thor.

I went to see Thor to get my blonde balayage touched up. He did an amazing job! He was a great conversationalist, and took great pride and care in his work. The only thing that struck me when I arrived was that I assumed the salon was in a commercial building for some reason, when in actuality it was located at a private residence. None the less, I hope to return to him soon.
