3 Best Steakhouses in North Vancouver, BC

We got the ham with smash potatoes and pierogis. Their gravy is amazing and the pierogis had sour cream and green onions! Really appreciated the two workers there today and loved the service and knowledge of the staff! I’m going to tell friends about this place so keep up the solid work.

Sharky's serving is generous! Recently got their 2 mains + 2 sides - Roast Beef, Greek Chicken with Perogies and Mixed Veggies. And boy it was filling! Their staff was nice and accommodating too! Definitely one of the best stores inside Lonsdale Quay Market.

Probably the best food you’ll find here. Very fresh, well prepared. Best value for money. We tried the honey glazed chicken breast and the jerk pork. Both great and tasty. Not too salty, not too spicy. Recommended.

Beautiful old building with wood trusses supporting the ceiling. It was a Jahovah Witness lodge before becoming a restaurant. They serve breakfast all day, and their omelets were terrific. The staff was very friendly. Bathrooms were clean, as was the restaurant. It is a very popular spot. The outside only shows the street number, 1540 aside from the two totem poles. We drove past it. It is like a museum with hundreds of native West Coast indigenous objects hanging from the support beams and along the bar. The two paddles in the picture, on the top, are over 80 years old.

If you just woke up with a hunger the size of a village (or maybe you just did a big morning hike around North Van like my wife and I did), then it’s about time to satisfy that appetite with a big plate of Tomahawk’s Mixed Grill platter. This is an everything-you-could-think-of breakfast feast heaped upon a ceramic plate and is quite a signature dish of theirs. (For comparison, our other steak dish with perfect runny eggs was not bad either and better suited for the person with the smaller tummy.) This diner style establishment serves traditional diner meals but has enough kookiness in both their dishes, its interior visual aesthetic and merchandise that made for a memorable experience. Of particular note was a copy of an exaggerated map of BC province and Canada that you could find next to every menu. The comic-strip style map highlights locations of interest around Canada with a heavy BC-centric bias. An absolutely hilarious read.

Came for dinner this time and it did not disappoint, the steak and mushroom pie was phenomenal. We thought the beef and mushroom steak soup would be like the pie but it was completely different, definitely out favourites.
