Chop Steakhouse & Bar

Despite living in richmond for so long, I had never been to chop! Our server, Holly, took care of us and made our first experience so easy. She was very friendly and helpful, explained the menu and gave us some delicious recommendations! Great service. We got the chili shrimp, steak bites, tuna tataki and the flat iron steak (which I don’t even have pictures of because we devoured it straight away!)

We came here for a birthday dinner and it was overall great! Free parking and a lot of space, no stress. Venue is nice. Service was great from when we walked in. George was our server and he was so pleasant and helpful. Jon was the manager and he was great to make sure everything was great for the birthday. Food was really good and price was reasonable. My partner ordered the seared scallops and she thought it was great ! Everything was so easy. We received a birthday card and birthday coupon treat for the next visit. Next time we will try the patio.

Really wanted a good steak for dinner and this was the closest to us. It's a very modern looking place with a great atmosphere. Since we were first time customers they brought out complementary bread with a goat cheese sauce that was incredible. We ended up order a filet mignon and a 13 oz prime rib that were both amazing. The housemate horseradish to go on top was perfect. Overall it was a great experience and if anybody wants an affordable steakhouse meal this is the place to go.
