“Makisu Sushi is an all-you-can-eat restaurant. The staff is always amicable and adds to the buffet's great price, and the owner gives a frequent customer loyalty card. The all-you-can-eat buffet is a great way to try small portions of many dishes and find favourites. Plus, if you pay cash, you can get a discount. Take advantage of their teriyaki beef, served with tender strip steak and grilled with a teriyaki mirin glaze. They have high chairs, a television, and a full bar for customers. They also provide catering services to the customer's needs.

2025 Update: Makisu Sushi is a casual, family-friendly environment with a welcoming vibe. The staff are always checking in, clearing plates, and making sure everything’s coming out as ordered.”

“Dono Sushi has a charming interior and features semi-private booths with curtains, making it an excellent choice for a pleasant private dining experience. The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, attentive staff, excellent food, and reasonable prices. They offer dinner combo specials anytime you like different options from lunch. The customers can avail themselves of delicious complimentary rice and seaweed appetizers. They serve vegan dishes and have high chairs for the customer's kids. Dono Sushi is wheelchair accessible and provides catering services for customers' events.

MAKISU SUSHI REVIEWS

Excellent food and service. We arrived around 2:30 PM and had to order everything all at once as it was last call time for lunch all you can eat service. Go a little earlier and eat and order and order again at your leisure. Food is freshly made as you order it and brought to your table. Fantastic quality and there must be 50 choices on the menu.

This restaurant offers a sushi buffet, all you can eat for a set price. They also have a wide selection of other types of Japanese food to choose from. The food is good and the service is quick. Prices are reasonable.

The food was really good. Order your food ahead of time though, if you are looking yo do take out, they tend to get too busy during dinner time.

I've been going here for years and every single time I get exceptional Sushi. The guys making it look like straight up Sushi Gurus and it makes you feel confident in your decision. The booths are awesome and the location is so unique. I'll be continuing to go there for years to come

Easily the best sushi in Lethbridge. Their lunch boxes are fantastic value. I had to check the menu again when my food came because I couldn't believe I got all this for $17.50. The little curtained booths are cute for a cozy meal.

Restaurant never fails to impress me with the quality of fish served, tried one of the dinner combos and it was absolutely delicious while only costing around 20$.

BON SUSHI REVIEWS

We have been meaning to try this place for awhile and since we were at a hobby night at nearby showcase comics we walked over and gave it a go. Food was prepared as ordered and absolutely lovely, fresh, tasty, and packaged well. Hubs thoroughly enjoyed the tuna ngiri and we particularly enjoyed the beef teriyaki roll. Rolls were formed well and didn’t fall apart, easy to eat. Even though this has the appearance of a chain it’s just a small local business and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Give it a try!

This was such a lovely little sushi restaurant! The staff were so nice and polite, and the food was absolutely delectable. We had a dragon roll, a chicken teriyaki roll, and seafood udon. Both rolls were beautifully made and presented, and they were so tasty. The udon had such a nice flavor, and all of the ingredients were well-cooked. We will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely fantastic customer service! Extremely fresh Sushi made right in front of you! Very good prices especially with the quantity of food you get! Will definitely be coming back!
