Their classic dining room offers the finest sushi and modern Japanese cuisine. Their Korean-style Deluxe Chirashi Don is served in a rice bowl with assorted veggies, sashimi with spicy sauce, and two miso soups. Sushi & Roll offers various combinations such as kids, California, BC, Mix and Alaska. They give massive amounts of fish for the price, and they have a great selection of nigiri and unique appetizers, including things you won't find elsewhere, like their stuffed jalapenos. They have high chairs for the customer's kids, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Sushi & Roll accepts Apple Pay and debit cards and provides free wifi connections.

Great 1st experience. Atmosphere was intimate and lovely, great to see the chef at work making sushi. Felt welcomed and great service. The sushi and food was amazing! Friendly staff and attentive!

I was pleasantly surprised with this place! Large portions and the food was fresh and well presented. Clean and great service...the waitresses were kind and attentive, made sure to double check our orders and everything was perfect. Definitely a good stop in place for lunch!

The sushi rolls here were so immaculate I was eating and crying at the same time. Honestly, I forgot what I ate. However, that does not matter as it was the single greatest thing I ate, that day! The miso soup was very salty!

I like coming to Sushi California because of their consistency. I have always had good, quick service at this location. The size of the rolls are always massive and sashimi is fresh and a large portion as well. Tea & miso soup is steaming hot perfect for the cold weather. The interior of this location is really nice and cosy as well. Will continue to come back when in the area.

A great sushi restaurant hidden on a side street of Guildford, Sushi California was a pleasant surprise to discover. The interior is spacious and accommodates many guests with an open view of the sushi bar and kitchen. The servers are prompt and attentive to refilling your tea and the kitchen plates the food in a picturesque manner. The selections of food are also diverse with traditional Japanese dishes and selections of fusion dishes. Parking is either on the street or in the back and can be quite limited.

Wow, amazing sushi. Everything was so super fresh it just melts in your mouth. Very decent prices too for the quality and generous portion sizes.

I had a very enjoyable experience at the sushi restaurant. The sushi was delicious, and the restaurant was very clean. I felt warmly welcomed by the staff. This was my first visit coming from Seattle, and I can confidently say that I would eat sushi from this place every time I visit Vancouver. The meal was very satisfying, both in terms of quantity and quality, especially considering the price compared to other restaurants.

Excellent food & superb service! A family favorite and their vast menu caters to all. Well-priced with generous portions. Sushi is always fresh and delightful! The restaurant is impeccably clean and the service friendly.

This is a hidden gem……. You aren’t going to find a beautifully appointed dining room here, it’s standard sushi resto fare, but what you are going to find is PREMIUM quality food, and friendly service. The room is bright and friendly, but when the sashimi and rolls came, I was blown away by the sheer size of the pieces, and the value for dollar. Not to mention they tasted fantastic. Highly Highly recommend you check this place out.
