“Oshawa Clinic expanded significantly by unveiling an eight-story tower on May 19, 1971, to house about 40 doctors and an urgent care clinic. Further enhancements were made in 1985 with laboratory and urgent care expansions, and in 1987, a three-story west-wing building was added. If they reach total capacity, they may stop registering additional patients. They are part of the Oshawa Clinic Group, Canada's largest medical clinic, with a history dating back to 1927. As the oldest clinic in Oshawa, it has a storied legacy. While not intended for emergency services, the clinic can handle emergencies and helps reduce the use of hospital emergency departments for non-urgent cases.”
