How do I sum up everything I want to say about Brad in one review? I've known Brad for 13 years. My husband and I have used him for two different real estate transactions and have also called on him several times to find out the sold prices of houses or to get more information about a property. He always has time for us. He is patient, personable, kind, and also has a great sense of humour. Most recently, we asked him to help us find a new place to live in Victoria. We had been given notice by our landlords in the last month of my pregnancy. It was extremely stressful to find a new place to live, but Brad made it the least stressful experience it could have been. He knew what we needed before we even knew and helped guide us towards the type of house that would be perfect for our growing family. Growing up in Victoria and being a realtor for so long, he has an incredible knowledge of the Victoria real estate market and also is able to offer suggestions on what renovations one might do to a house to improve it or what to look out for. He was with us from the beginning right through to the end. He even dropped by to see the renovations that we had done. He always has time for clients even though he is extremely busy. He is extremely responsive by phone, email, and text. Brad really made a stressful time to turn into a wonderful time. After being completely dissatisfied with a real estate agent who would not listen, I googled and found Brad MacLaren. I went around looking at homes with him for one weekend in Victoria. After that weekend, I had enough confidence in him that I instructed him to find a house for my daughter to live in with roommates close to the Univ of Victoria, without me seeing it. He found the right house. Four years later he arranged a private sale because I had had some unfortunate tenants who had left a mess, which saved me a huge amount of time and money, as I live in Seattle. I trusted him implicitly because he is honest, intelligent and knowledgeable.
