ART GALLERY OF ALBERTA REVIEWS
A lovely Sunday afternoon spent at the AGA with my spouse, fully taking in several exhibits such as Inheritance, Place of Honour, Maude Lewis, George Littlechild and Making Art, Building Community. We were particularly touched by the first three, but did not remain indifferent to the other ones. It was an engaging visit to one of the most interesting venues in our city, next to the EPL of course β staff (docents included) were magnificently friendly|fun, answering our questions & guiding us through some challenging interpretations on the exhibits presenting stories and journeys of indigenous peoples. Then the playful Maude Lewis took us and our imagination to a whole new playful place β thanks you AGA β an amazing tapestry of visual stories.
Best time to go is Thursday evening as the art gallery is free. Be sure to make a reservation for Zinc, just after the gallery closes and enjoy a nice meal and a bottle of wine. Parking can be tricky as it is downtown, but if you listen to my advice, parking will be free at 6 and you will not have to worry.
Very unique museum, features a variety of different types of artwork. I particularly enjoy the large selection of abstract pieces. Modern architecture and the overall cleanliness of the place add to the positive experience.

LATITUDE 53 REVIEWS
It truly is all contemporary, so if you're looking for "classic" or traditional paintings and stuff, it won't be here. The front desk was friendly and very chill :) It's an interesting place to check out with friends, especially if you want to explore Edmonton more. It's nice that they support local artists; their a nice name selection.
Interesting show with magnificent community initiatives. We were welcomed warmly and the staff were very informed.
Great gallery. Lots of interesting pieces of art within a big open space. One of best galleries in the city.
