“Royal Alberta Museum is a natural and human history museum. The museum is the largest in Western Canada, covering more than 7,600 square metres of floor space and 38,900 square metres of display space. The museum hosted 175 travelling exhibits between 1989 and 2001. The museum features galleries showcasing Alberta's natural and cultural world. The collections in the museum are divided into four categories life sciences, earth sciences, human history, and collection services. RAM programs encourage visitors to explore and ask questions, aiming to inspire connections and the sharing of remarkable Alberta stories. Royal Alberta Museum is dedicated to creating programs that promote wonder, inquiry, and new understandings of Alberta's place in the world.
