Hawrelak Park is one of the largest parks in Edmonton. It has over 68 hectares of area in the river valley featuring a 5-hectare lake and open meadows. The park hosts several major festivals and events throughout the year. Hawrelak Park has walking trails around the perimeter that can be used for cross-country skiing in the winter. The park also features picnic sites, a playground, and beach volleyball nets. There are 4 picnic sites available with 37 picnic tables. Hawrelak Park incorporates a Community League Plaza, an all-season destination featuring a gas fireplace, seating, lake and creek viewing areas, artwork, displays, and information about how Edmonton & the Community League movement have grown together through time. Visitors can find their way around the river valley with this selection of comprehensive, seasonal trail maps. Hawrelak Park is a fantastic location for all Edmontonians and visitors to explore. It has an ample parking facility and is wheelchair accessible.

Rundle Park is a municipal park in Edmonton, Canada. The park overlooks the North Saskatchewan River, and a pedestrian bridge connects Gold Bar Park and Rundle Park. The park features paved paths, sport amenities, and numerous ponds. It is home to toboggan hills and an IceWay in the winter. The park has a broad range of features and facilities for visitors to enjoy. The park features sports fields, multi-use trails, picnic sites, a golf course, paved paths, and numerous ponds. Rundle Park has 6 picnic sites 23 picnic tables for casual use by groups of 50 people. Rundle Park has green-asphalt tennis courts and paddleboat rentals available during the summer. Visitors can enjoy view points and water fountains to enjoy natural scenic views. The park has a beautiful lakehouse featuring winter and summer activities and boat rentals. There are multiple paved parking lots available.

Victoria Park has snowshoeing, the ice way, victoria skating oval, baseball diamond, and cross-country skiing. The 3,337 square-foot pavilion serves as a year-round hub in the River Valley, providing a location for outdoor activities and a space for the use of community and sport groups. At Victoria Park, 6 picnic sites are available to relax and spend time with your family. On-site washroom facilities are available in Victoria Park.
