“Rundle Park features sports amenities, paved paths, numerous ponds, sports fields, multi-use trails, picnic sites, and a golf course. It is home to toboggan hills and an iceway in the winter. The park has a broad range of features and facilities for visitors to enjoy. Rundle Park has many picnic tables for casual use by groups of people. Rundle Park has green asphalt tennis courts and paddleboat rentals available during the summer. Visitors can enjoy view viewpoints and water fountains to enjoy natural scenic views. The park has a beautiful lakehouse featuring winter and summer activities and boat rentals. There are multiple paved parking lots available.

2025 Update: Rundle Park has 6 picnic sites available for reservation during the summer, one picnic site for reservation in the winter, and 23 picnic sites available for drop-in use. Rundle Park has a disc golf course which is available to the public at no charge, on a first-come, first-served, walk-on basis. The park is wheelchair accessible at the entrance.”

2025 Update: A notable feature of Borden Park is the round pavilion that houses its bathrooms. The pavilion's exterior consists of a glulam Douglas fir truss supporting triangular glass panels, which are transparent from the inside but dark and mirror-like from the outside. The park has over 100 years of history. Borden Park Natural Swimming Pool includes a main pool area that slopes to a depth of two meters and a children's wading pool with a depth of 0.6 meters, both surrounded by constructed beaches. Borden Park is home to many outdoor works of public art. One notable permanent installation is Vaulted Willow, a sculpture by Marc Fornes and Theverymany. The sculpture takes the form of a 20-foot-tall, branching, downwardly curved structure made of 721 brightly colored aluminum shingles connected into a self-supporting structure. RUNDLE PARK REVIEWS

Rundle Park is a huge park on the east side of the city. It has everything for those who walk, bike, play golf, throw frisbee, bbq, or in wintertime skate. There are some paddle boats as well. Edmonton has more large parks than any other city that I know of and is as such easily surpassing Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto. Adjacent is another park called Hermitage Park, equally nice for couples and families.

I recently moved to this area of Edmonton and took my dog for a walk along the riverside paths and around part of the disk golf course. We both loved the ability to enjoy both natural and manicured areas within a short drive from home.

Beautiful park. My preferred one in the city. But if you don't like snakes - be aware you may see a garter snake by one of the ponds. Just took this photo few mins ago.

BORDEN PARK REVIEWS

Amazing park close to downtown. Lots of shaded and unshaded picnic spots. Easy access via piblic transit. Lots of parking. Washrooms are in the pavilion. Nice walking and running trail/track. Very unique art sculpture. 3 play structure for kids including slide, monkey bar, ropes etc. Free parking lot. Fenced Swimming pool not sure what are its operating time frame, during our visit it was closed. There is a stage/stadium. Wheelchair and stroller accessible. Over all great park must visit if you are in Edmonton. Check out videos and images follow me for more detailed reviews.

We went to see pumpkins after dark on Halloween day to this park and we enjoyed the light show. Our little daughter too enjoyed watching colourful lights and pumpkins carving. They did an amazing work..the whole put up was so well organized and this park is very big and spacious.

The washrooms are clean and there are people to look after them, the picnic areas are good. It is a good place. Restrooms: Clean, there are people to check nobody is loitering there.

VICTORIA PARK REVIEWS

Winter or summer this is a great park. The park is easily accessible off a major road and there is plenty of parking. There are public washrooms that are accessible for all. I visited here in the winter so there is a skating oval and trail that is family friendly. There is an indoor changing pavilion that is open from 9 am till 9 pm. In the summer there is a playground and trails available. There picnic tables for use also. It’s not a huge place but nice. Right in the Edmonton river valley to enjoy a little piece of nature.

Really nice place to spend your evening skating with the family! There's few different ice rinks that makes it more convenient for different skating skills levels. There are also fire pits available all over if you like to roast some marshmallows.

Love coming here! Lots of room bathrooms close by lots of amenities and well taken care of grounds. One of our favorite parts to go to.
