LF BAKERY REVIEWS

If you’re looking for fresh croissants, doughnuts and pastries, I highly recommend LF Bakery. They have savoury and sweet options, and even sandwiches, coffee and tea drinks. Their bread is baked fresh daily, the staff are incredible. In terms of seating, they do have a few chairs, enough to seat 12-15 indoors but during the summer the patio can host atleast another 20 people.

Very nice French bakery. The Zaatar croissant was very nice. Interesting choice for breakfast, I would have tried so many things. Unfortunately they didn’t have any oat milk left but I enjoyed the almond milk turmeric latte I tried. Staff was very friendly. Bread is delicious. Go early if you want to make sure to grab some.

Get there early as the line grows fast. Fantastic pastries. A great stop for locals and those visiting the city who can’t resist a pain au chocolate (chocolatine) .

It was very important for my niece to support local and we had a really hard time finding someone to a baby shower on a Sunday! We met with Rami at the Dartmouth location he gave a sample to try and gave us lots of suggestions. It was a great experience and a great weight lifted off her shoulders. The day of the shower, the food had arrived. Let me tell you it was a huge hit, went above and beyond to make the baby shower, a huge success. We can’t thank them enough, and we can’t wait to use them again for our next event.

On an expedition to explore good breakfast in and around Halifax. My husband and I stumbled upon The Bread Lounge Bakery. We absolutely loved what we ordered. We opted for the combo options. I felt it was easy on pockets(Combo for $9.75 -$10.75). Ambience was calm and good. A special shout-out to the pesto veg bocconcini sandwich and spicy chicken sandwich.

The spicy chicken sandwich and cheese cake were really good and filling. Ambience is also calm and relaxing. The service was the best.

LE FRENCH FIX PÂTISSERIE REVIEWS

To be honest, one of my favorite places to go, location is very good in the heart of the city, the old building added value where I felt the history when I was there. The patisseries are unique, French and delicious. Even you can't find them anywhere. I like the girl work over there she is welcoming, smiley face and friendly (I thought she is the owner). Layout, I like the layout and decorations. Prices are ($$), but worth it.p Working hours, I found they close very early, sometime we like to have coffee after 5pm, specially the business in the heart of the city Conclusion, really you should visit, and test macarons, they are frech. Well done.

As close to perfection as you can get in life. The croissant is the best we have had in North America, possibly even Europe. We also had a pain au chocolat and the chocolate was still soft inside. The vanilla canele was moist and fluffy. We got soy milk iced lattes and they were a dream. We sat at the only 2 seats in front of an open window of flowers in the main floor (more seating upstairs). We would have gone back for macarons but when we were done the line was out the door. A reason to come back to Halifax.

Wonderful little find near the Convention Centre. Real French feel…great coffees and eats. The canelé came warmed and had a beautiful soft centre. Macaroons are well priced and made in the Parisian style - delicious. Croissant delicious. Good value.
