BREKA BAKERY & CAFE REVIEWS

Take out review only. This is by far the best desert place outside of Costco. I know people try and act cool by suggesting gazillion places which are sub par but won't buy from Costco because it is Costco, but I kid you not, they have the best cakes. This is the only other place so far where was not disappointed by its bakery. Tried sausage rolls as well, but they were pretty average. Overall I'd recommend this bakery for cakes and pastries.

The best coffee and bakeshop I've been to. They are open 24/7 and busy even late nights. I am impressed at how much various baked goodies you could select from and all were freshly made. I was looking for donuts when I came and they were oh so good! They didn't disappoint. I am goong back for more.

Had a pina colada cheesecake and earl grey cream puff. These were so delicious. This place is very busy but got a seat there quick. Staff were friendly, only thing is the tables were not cleaned. Overall I will go try more of their desserts.

PUREBREAD REVIEWS

Rustic furniture matches the age of the building it's located in. Very good pastries! Baked fresh every day, they told me! I thought the Chocolate Almond Croissant felt unevenly baked where, where one side seemed more crispier than the rest of the flaky parts. Might have been the way it was folded? But really, is before they used a lot of butter! Excellent! Still, REALLY good! I'm not complaining. In fact, the contrast of textures adds more to it. And because you're biting into the hard part with chocolate, it's actually much more fitting. If anything, wash it down with a small macchiato. Oh, also, try the misto and the gingerbread cake too! The ginger flavor wasn't super strong --nice hint, but the cake was dense thanks to the molasses.

This is the best dessert bakery I've ever visited in my life, to date. It's truly a unique experience— being overwhelmed by the extensive and diverse selection laid out before you + the atmosphere is so warm, fun, and friendly. I personally love decadent sweets, this place does it right. We tried three different items on two separate occasions and both experiences exceeded our expectations.

Amazing Bakery. Friendly Staff. Fast Service. Extreme Hospitality. Knowledgeable Staff, which was a nice change compared to other bakeries around. Good prices. Clean Establishment. Definitely a Rustic Cozy Atmosphere. Large Selection of tasty pastries. Overall definitely one of the better bakeries in town.

BEAUCOUP BAKERY & CAFÉ REVIEWS

This has been a place that I wanted to try for a while, but it was mostly out of the way for me. I went for the ice cream festival, so it was something to look forward to. Their ice cream sandwich for the Vancouver Ice Cream Festival was proven to be a hit. Although I had to wait for the second half of the festival to come, because the menu was more interesting for my preference. People there were very nice. They got my order wrong and rectified it immediately. There was a vast variation of pastries and all looked delicious.

Delicious pastries and hot chocolate. I'm a sucker for matcha drinks so their baby Yoda hot chocolate and matcha cookie combo for the hot chocolate festival was my favourite. Lots of matcha flavour but not overpowering and just the right amount of sweetness for both the drink and pastries. The only downside is they have very limited seating space.

Delicious, crunchy on the outside & soft in the centre, Parisian ‘Cinnamon Scroll’, at Beaucoup Bakery on Fir in Vancouver. My ice latte is refreshing and delicious on this warm Spring day! Inside and some outside seating for a gorgeous day like today!
