NEXT DOOR BED AND BREAKFAST REVIEWS

I stayed at Next Door Bed and Breakfast right before Christmas for a staycation before it was back to work and school. Both Ian and Jen made my stay so welcoming and enjoyable. I really loved the gingerbread house making class where Ian explained how to make your own gingerbread and even provided take home recipes. Decorating the gingerbread houses was a blast as well! Ian is an incredible cook, hand crafting every meal with local ingredients, and Jen was an excellent host and wine connoisseur. Since it is so close to Picton I know I’ll be coming back in the summer to stay and enjoy some shopping.

We felt so welcomed, slept so well, breakfast was so good and I'm looking for reason to go again. I worry this place will become so popular that the next time I want to stay I'll be told they are all booked up. Yet here I share because it would be unfair not to. Thank you Ian for making my eggs just the way I like them :) Thank you Jennifer and Ian for waking up early so that we could get on the road when we needed to.

A cannot say enough great stuff about this beautiful place. I cannot wait to go back and the better half is just as excited. Great location in a beautiful city with lots to do there. Thanks again Jennifer & Ian, everything was perfect. See you soon.

KINGS INN B&B REVIEWS

Candy and Pierre have beautifully restored a 19thC home in Trenton and turned it into a clean, comfortable, hospitable B&B with gracious hosts and AMAZING food. Candy makes sure everything looks perfect, and Pierre serves up the best custom breakfasts I've had anywhere: anything from Belgian waffles, to seafood crêpes, to steak & eggs, available upon request! (Pierre is very knowledgeable about food from all over the world, and he and Candy were a pleasure to have conversations with.) The room had everything we needed, and there was lots of space inside and outside the house to sit back and relax, plus a heated pool in the backyard. All in all, a delightful stay.

Our stay was perfect! The bedrooms are so spacious, comfortable, beautiful and clean. Pierre & Candace deserve more than 5 stars! They are the best hosts we ever had. Pierre would make snacks for the guests anytime, and would make sure we can enjoy the heated swimming pool. Candace has the best advice regarding the things you can do in the area. The food was delicious, made to order and served at the time of our choice. Amazing experience, we were treated like King&Queen, but also like family. We can’t wait to go back and we highly recommend! Thanks again.

Beautiful spot, Beautiful home. Close to the Trent River, fishing & lots of wineries.
