This Inn is quaint and charming. Our hostess Lise took care of us very well. Not only is Lise great in the kitchen but she also served as our tour guide for the area leading us to beautiful places with scenic drives!

Charming quiet accommodation with beautiful breakfast catering to food preferences. Owner and staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

NEXT DOOR BED AND BREAKFAST REVIEWS

I stayed at Next Door Bed and Breakfast right before Christmas for a staycation before it was back to work and school. Both Ian and Jen made my stay so welcoming and enjoyable. I really loved the gingerbread house making class where Ian explained how to make your own gingerbread and even provided take home recipes. Decorating the gingerbread houses was a blast as well! Ian is an incredible cook, hand crafting every meal with local ingredients, and Jen was an excellent host and wine connoisseur. Since it is so close to Picton I know I’ll be coming back in the summer to stay and enjoy some shopping.

We felt so welcomed, slept so well, breakfast was so good and I'm looking for reason to go again. I worry this place will become so popular that the next time I want to stay I'll be told they are all booked up. Yet here I share because it would be unfair not to. Thank you Ian for making my eggs just the way I like them :) Thank you Jennifer and Ian for waking up early so that we could get on the road when we needed to.

A cannot say enough great stuff about this beautiful place. I cannot wait to go back and the better half is just as excited. Great location in a beautiful city with lots to do there. Thanks again Jennifer & Ian, everything was perfect. See you soon.

THE EMPTY NEST BED AND BREAKFAST REVIEWS

We went to Empty Nest to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in the Bayview Suite. Because she was working at the time of our arrival, she made sure to contact us with all the explanations we needed to make ourselves welcomed and at home. Our stay started with some rosé and almond pie on the deck! We knew right away that we had made the right choice of B&B. Susan’s recommendations for restaurants and things to see were perfect. The Suite has amazing views of the bay with the loons and the white swans swimming by.. Susan’s breakfasts are plentiful enough to sustain us till dinner time. Susan was one of the best hosts we ever met. We highly recommend her place and hopefully, we will be back.

Thank you for such a warm and welcoming stay! Genuine hospitality and comfort. Susan is the sweetest host. You can see and feel how much time and care has been put into this lovely bed and breakfast. The space is bright, clean, and beautifully decorated. The lake view is divine — perfect for a break in nature, sunsets, and stargazing. Delicious breakfast and cappuccinos make you feel right at home. Had the best time exploring PEC from this cozy spot.

From the moment we arrived, Susan greeted us with a smile at her front door. Her place is warm and cozy with a stunning lake view! Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean and inviting. Breakfast was top notch. She makes a point of sourcing her ingredients locally. Fresh fruit, the most delicious eggs benedict and waffles!
