"Jane Forrester Park has numerous amenities like recreation regions, a tree-lined 1 mile paved walking path, a gym, basketball, an outdoor kids activity area, climbing areas, a softball field, tennis courts and a playground. There is a lot of lawn space and outdoor fitness equipment for adults. The park has covered picnic shelters. This is an excellent spot for a good walk with gorgeous bay views along the way. Visitors can also relax on their lovely shaded trail with plenty of growing flora and wildlife. Jane Forrester Park is a great place to walk, enjoy nature and take children. Wheelchair access is available. Jane Forrester Park allows dogs.

WEST ZWICK'S ISLAND PARK REVIEWS

What a nice park! There was plenty of green space, a 2 mile trail along the water, large play ground, covered areas for parties, and the had shipping containers for small restaurants to do a "pop up." We stopped in on our way to Montreal to stretch our legs and burn some energy. Playground: There were tons of activities in the playground, there were probably 50 kids in there and everyone had something to play with! Restrooms: The restrooms were nice and clean.Dog-friendliness: Plenty of dogs, along the trail there was also a dog park, separate for big and small dogs. Picnic area: Plenty of shade and covered pavilions.

Fantastic park maintained by Belleville. The facilities are always clean and kept, security provided by Belleville Police is A1. Excellent place for events planning and entertainment shows.

Well maintained park. Good escape from the metropolitan chaos and to spend some time with nature.

RIVERSIDE PARK REVIEWS

Next to the waterfront trails that run along the Belleville bay this is definitely the next best trail to walk, ride, bird watch qnd so on. There's always geese there and there's benches to have lunch too when the kids play in the park or splash pad I live in the East End and I take this trail from Station St all the way up to the mall because its eo beuatful and much more peaceful year round comparaed to the other ways to get to that end of town. It takes a bit longer but is definitely more safer and worth it! There's a little bike jump truck hidden there too thats fun for kids. I'll take some snaps of it and updated ones ofbth3 trails instead of the park and upload next time I'm there.

It’s a very well maintained and beautiful park. There’s lots to do whether it’s on a bike ride or taking thee dog for a walk along the trails, going to the skate park or taking the kids to the pirate ship park or the splash pad.

There's a new make-your-own music area that I thoroughly enjoyed. Met friendly people with their dogs. Everything so well kept, too bad the geese had to spoil the lawn! Best to stay on pathways.

This stop was a very pleasant surprise bike stop one afternoon out early in July. The view was nice, the staff was fast and efficient. Best of all they have a Greek wrap that I asked to be put between bread/bun. It was AMAZING. Great food, location and atmosphere. It is nice that it is off the beaten track to visit. Creates more of a destination allure.

Beautiful park. There was a fishing activity going on. Liked the lake views, the boats, the gazebo, the grand heron, the turtle, the flower baskets.

Pleasant scenery can be found here along the Bay of Quinte with views of Belleville downtown.
