GARDEN SOUTH PARK INN REVIEWS

Pretty, older hotel in Halifax. Very nice rooms and bathroom with a sky shower- I loved it. The staff were welcoming and friendly and recommended A couple of good restaurants nearby which gave a discount as we were staying locally. Free street parking and a nice generous breakfast.

Great B&B. Nothing was too much trouble for Razen who made us very welcome. Very convenient for downtown and the Via Rail Station (though it is up a steep hill from the station. Very highly recommend.

It was quaint, comfortable, homey, in a good location, staff was nice, helpful. Breakfast was good. Easy to talk with other guests. A very good time in Halifax and this Inn was a perfect location to stay at.

THE PEBBLE REVIEWS

Our stay at The Pebble was pure perfection. It was the most beautiful experience our family has every had. We were in Halifax to celebrate our daughter's wedding. The Pebble was an incredible setting for this event. The gardens are spectacular, the home magnificient and the ambience was so romantic for the wedding photographs. Liz and David welcomed us like family. I could not have dreamed of a better location for all the wedding festivities. The Pebble is the perfect location for families and guests who are attending a destination event in Halifax. It would also be a great location for a intimate wedding.

The Pebble is quite simply the best B&B I have stayed in anywhere in Canada let alone Nova Scotia. The charm and class of 1839 Armview Terrace is only exceeded by that of Liz and David O'Carroll who are outstanding innkeepers and hosts. From the comfortable bed, to the spacious and well-equipped bathrooms with Molton & Brown toiletries, to the excellent breakfasts and steady supply of tea and Newman's port in the evening, The Pebble is in a category all its own. It is truly my home away from home while in Halifax.

A high end B&B with charming hosts (Liz and David) who hold themselves to a very high standard of hospitality. The rooms are lovely, recently renovated. Breakfast is very nice, customised if you have dietary restrictions. Liz is a very engaging hostess: draws you in and gets to know you intimately, which for us is a huge part of staying in a B&B (the getting-to-know-your-hosts part).

Amazing place to stay, highly recommend! The views and room itself set the vibe for our trip. We were able to have an ocean view breakfast each morning (the breakfasts that the hosts make were unbelievable). It is so charming, modern, yet holds history in the building. The hosts are very friendly. It’s only a 20 ish minute drive from downtown Halifax. Would absolutely stay here again!

Eva and Tom were great hosts. We stayed 6 days this September in the McCabe Suite. Very comfortable, clean and a great view of the water with the cruise ships and cargo ships going and coming into Halifax port. Breakfasts were delicious. Quiet area, about 25 minutes to downtown. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful place to stay! Everything was comfortable, welcoming, and enjoyable. Amazing views of both the ocean and the city (Halifax). We plan to come back to stay here in the future when we are back in the area!
