Sinonskin is the best tattoo studio in Halifax. Nicole at reception is incredible, she is kind, caring and very professional, she responds very quickly which is appreciated. Sara, the Witcher Tattoo listened to my project, she did her best to make my project feasible and she did it very well. She has an eye for detail, she is professional and a perfectionist and very kind. I really recommend Sara if you want a project with a lot of imagination and creativity! She is the best!!

From start to finish I had an amazing experience. From the ease of the online booking system, the quick reply from the artist, and the coordination of the fantastic Nicole. Nicole was diligent about following up with me at all stages and addressing my many questions. I choose Pia as the artist I wanted to work with after checking out reviews and samples online of the artists’ work. Don’t get me wrong, they all do FANTASTIC work. Pia had a couple tattoos with writing and elements that I was looking for. The sharp lines in her writing were impressive. My tattoo consisted mostly of writing, and 2 images (dog prints). I sent Pia the design I created in a word document using an Edwardian font. Of course nothing was lined up. Pia took that design, lined up all the elements and suggested a change to one of the letters. At first, I wasn’t sure about the change. When I got to the studio and saw the actual stencil with the change, I loved it! Pia is very meticulous and has an amazing eye for detail. Some of the lettering was tight with small loops. I was expecting a few spots not to show detail. I was so wrong. Pia is a true artist and captured every curve, swerve, and loop! I would 100% recommend Sin on Skin, and 110% recommend Pia, especially for very detailed and fine line work. - Todd M Reply

I went to see Lucy spontaneously on vacation and she gave me exactly what I asked for. With an eye for detail and extreme presicion with her fine lines, I would come back 100%. We also met a few others who worked at the shop. They were extremely friendly and kind. Offering places to eat. Also the music was top tier. I would recommend Adept tattoos to anyone looking.

I enjoy coming here, friendly and knowledgeable staff, Greg is great- quick and efficient and very knowledgeable about what he does, I’ve had 3 individual piercings here within a span of a few years and they always have healed well!

I have had all my tattoos done by Dylan, he is a great artist, very friendly. The shop is very clean & is a pleasant environment to be in. Would highly recommend to others.

I cannot express what a great experience my mother and I had with this business. We had limited time in Halifax only visiting for the day off of a cruise ship. We desperately wanted to get matching tattoos to commemorate our special trip together and this business made it happen! They went above and beyond to work within our time restraints and were extremely helpful the entire process. From the front desk staff to the artists, each of them were incredibly kind and extremely talented. I HIGHLY recommend!

Awesome guys, Nick at the front was super accommodating when I messed up my schedule and John, the legend sorted me out with my first two tattoos. Couldn’t be happier, reasonable price, friendly people and awesome music playing in the background. If I want another tattoo this is where I’ll be going in the future.

I sit with Desmond and he's always been great. He did my neck tattoo, my legs, and a few on my right arm. Always respectful, creative, and cool. Nick at the front desk is a sweetie pie too! I'll be back.
