Alex F. is THE BEST!! She is personable, funny, and so sweet. I always look forward to my appointments with her and she always makes sure that whatever she does won’t damage my hair. I had orange brown hair and wanted to go icy blonde. She got the exact colour that I asked for and I am OBSESSED with it!! It’s so blonde and natural, and truly perfect. She ensures the coloring process is done correctly and it couldn’t have turned out any better. I highly reccomend Alex F. Spirit Spa itself is so amazing. The staff are always very friendly and offer to make you a coffee or tea, get you water, a treat, etc. Five stars all around!

My wife and I went for a couples massage while visiting Halifax for the weekend. Zoe hit all the right spots - definitely the right way to melt away the week before enjoying a beautiful sunny weekend downtown. Spa was beautiful and staff were inviting, friendly, and accommodating.

I had a great morning at the spa getting my hair and makeup done for my prom! Everyone was so nice and helpful. Manny did an amazing job with my hair and Alex is a great makeup artist!

INTERLUDE SPA DARTMOUTH REVIEWS

Im here visiting from Ottawa, Ontario. I booked Brazilian last minute and interlude spa was able to accommodate me. The admin staff was professional and kind. Shelly was my waxer and she was AMAZING! Kind, professional, quick , gentle and efficient. I also asked her a few things about laser /electrolysis and she was a huge help. If I lived here, I would be a regular - Shelly was top tier. I’m going to if I can get my grandma a gift card here for her birthday. I come back every summer and I won’t hesitate about booking with Shelly if ever I need anything waxed on next vacation.

Alex was wonderful. So friendly and fun to chat with! She is also very skilled at her job - my manicure is absolutely beautiful. I wanted a lavender colour and accidentally picked a very sheer colour. As soon as she noticed she grabbed me a more opaque option so it was exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be back.

Friendly, true spa experience! All of the staff were welcoming and made me feel pampered, taken care of. Angela was an incredible hair stylist and I am enjoying my new look.

I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the Japanese Signature Ritual (Japanese head spa) with Karla — and wow, what an incredible experience. From the moment it began, Karla’s calm, caring presence made it easy to relax, and the entire treatment was pure bliss. It was genuinely one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. Her attention to detail, gentle technique, and soothing energy created the perfect atmosphere to fully unwind. I left feeling refreshed, grounded, and already looking forward to booking my next session. Highly, highly recommend.

My husband and I had a lovely experience at The Highlander while we were in Halifax. Hannah performed my body scrub and she was the most skilled service provider I've ever had, definitely request her when booking. She was able to accomodate my service to make sure it was pregnancy safe for me and checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable several times throughout the service. My husband also thoroughly enjoyed his massage and we both left feeling relaxed and pampered. Thank you so much to The Highlander team for their work and dedication to their clients.

I had the most amazing Japanese head massage, and it was pure bliss from start to finish. Alla, the massage therapist, is incredibly skilled — she truly has golden hands and a magical touch. Every movement felt so professional, relaxing, and healing. I could feel all the tension melt away, leaving me completely refreshed and recharged. If you want to experience true relaxation and care, I can’t recommend Alla enough.
