3 Best Cakes in Burnaby, BC

What a wonderful place so much variety. Everything is so good at the coffee is great. All the pastry is really good. The staff members are friendly and they like to explain about the things. I love in the oiled machine, coffee shops, like this super spacious and can accommodate many people which is important for the quality of the goods that they serve. Definitely I will be back when I go to Burnaby again.

SUCH AN AMAZING PLACE!!!! Went there with my friend for the first time, had to wait in a long queue but the food was worth it all. We ordered Korean fried chicken with soy garlic and sweet and spicy sauce, lattes and mango bingsoo. I still can’t get over the bingsoo. Would be visiting soon to try it again.

Good food. Nice ambiance too. With good selections of baked goods and desserts. I super love the iced spanish latte.

First time here since the bakery came under new ownership last year, but it didn't disappoint! We thought the variety of pastries and their quality were not compromised. Ordered some sausage rolls, cookies, their pear tart, and pistachio roll. The sausage rolls had adequate meat filling. With the cookies, we're allowed to mix & match when purchasing a dozen or half a dozen. Good nutty flavours for the almond and caramel crunch cookies, and the jam shortbread still maintained its moistness! The pistachio roll still tasted great the day after when warmed in the microwave to allow the inner filling to melt. The only issue we had was with the pear tart and separating it from the outer wrap/paper. It was stuck and we had difficulty peeling it off, so had to basically scoop and eat the pastry from the attached paper. Will return to try some different pastries and baked goods! Hopefully they update their website in the near future, as itemizing their products would be valuable for new customers.

We've been to Valley bakery many times now and it delights us every time. The bakery items always taste so delicious and fresh especially all the cakes with whipped cream icing which feel so light. I love their surprise baskets too. I recently got my daughter's birthday cake made by them, a tall purple cake with vanilla sponge and nougat filling and I'm finishing it off greedily, not offering the leftovers to anyone in my house LOL. This place is a gem!

This bakery is simply the best! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the mouthwatering aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries. The selection is fantastic, and everything I've tried has been top-notch. The friendly service is just the cherry on top. Highly recommended!
