ZUBU RAMEN REVIEWS

This is a really good lunch spot with lots of different small dishes to try. We especially enjoyed the cocktails (Tequila Kick & Julianas Tokyo), spicy boiled shrimp wontons, salmon tacos and poke bowl. The ramen looked really good however we did not try it in this occasion and will have to next time. Our bartender, Ashley, was great and gave us recommendations. I would recommend this place.

Good place to have lunch or dinner. Had the Zubu Zubu ramen with mixed meat (half lean half fatty) and egg. The mixed meat was a good decision because the fatty pork was, well, fatty . We also enjoyed the salmon jalapeño roll and the brussels sprout tempura was also a delight to eat (we asked for mayo on the side). Overall enjoyed our meal. They have a mother's day promo on-going for a free dessert.

I had the mazesoba and tonkotsu shio ramen since there is a "Buy One Get One Free" promotion going on till 1st May 2023. I'd recommend mazesoba but the quantity of meat should be increased because of the higher price compared to other ramen restaurant chains. Tonkotsu shio was okay, I wouldn't repeat it next time and it should've included a half boiled egg.

Incredibly good flavour. The rich black ramen is super tasty, and the price for portion is really good. Free toppings like fried garlic. Their karage is nice and crispy and the spicy mayo is fancy. Really friendly staff, very genuine and helpful. Our server helped us get a discount we weren't aware of. Good casual atmosphere, all its missing is the vending machine and I'd think I was in Tokyo again.

Blown away by this hidden gem as it’s becoming my favorite Ramen place in Metro Vancouver. It’s often overshadowed by the surrounding chain but offers a more affordable and better ramen quality. I ordered Black Ramen and noodles is nice and firm just the way I like it, the cha siu is perfectly grilled and extremely soft. But the broth is the main star which is rich but somehow not being extremely heaven at the end of the bowl. It’s one of a few spots I can manage to finish the bowel because it’s not too heavy. Place is extremely nice and cozy so definitely give it a try.

I think Sushi S is the best sushi restaurant in Vancouver. The staff are all friendly, and the restaurant is very clean, which makes the dining experience enjoyable. The quality of the food is excellent, and they provide everything I need without making me feel overwhelmed. The hot dishes are served piping hot, making it more efficient to eat them in the restaurant .

First time visiting Sushi S. What a great spot! Our server William was amazing! So attentive and on point with everything. Haven't come across this type of service in a very long time. Our sushi was fresh and very tasty. Food came out fast even though they were really busy. Definitely will be back. I highly recommend you try Sushi S.

Food is always fresh and good quality, also love their sashimi and nigiri! This is my favourite sushi restaurant in Vancouver. Recommend the Awesome roll and Volcano roll :).
