“VCCS Employment Services is a top-notch employment service provider in Lindsay. VCCS was incorporated as a charity and non-profit organization in 1988 to assist job seekers in the City of Kawartha Lakes. Their vision is to be the premier employment service agency and resource centre in the City of Kawartha Lakes and the surrounding area. They help both job seekers and local employers with their employment needs. They receive funding for their services from the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities’ Employment Ontario Program, the United Way for the City of Kawartha Lakes, and Service Canada. In addition to providing employment-related services for students, youth, and adults, the school maintains a community information and volunteer database that is accessible to the community.
