BRIT & CHIPS REVIEWS

Brit & Chips is my favorite fish and chips place in Montreal. The food is great, I love how crispy the batter is and how soft the fish is. The atmosphere is really casual, and I like sitting on the high bars.

If you want to have some great fish and chips in Montreal. Don't look for an other place. We had both types (salmon and cod) and they were really perfect on taste and structure. Very nice waitress.

Just the perfectly fried fish n’ chips you’d expect. Super texture to the cod and a nutty, crisp texture for the batter. Generous helping of fries. Cherry ale to wash down. Buzzer for order, bus your tray. Youthful staff and diverse patrons. Grateful for the choice among the elegant “high-rise” restaurants around it on McGill.

All dishes tasted incredibly good. Those makis were just worth the prep time, rich and amazing. Nice drinks. F&B nicely presented and served. Expected it to be more entertaining on a Thursday night. Nice for dates, after work drinks or any other gathering.

We went on a Friday night. There was a DJ and the music was on point (throwback 2000s). Service was friendly. We grabbed their truffle oil salmon tartare, their rock n' roll sushi and their truffle fries. The food was really good. Their cocktails are also very enjoyable.

Loved the experience the service is absolutely perfect! They kept a smile on their faces despite the fact that we were a large group (40)! They did everything in their power to accommodate us and the celebration was a success thanks to their professionalism.

Very good seafood restaurant. The food is delicious , the staff is very kind. I have been here three times during my one week stay in ST-Michel. By the way the frites they made is the best one I had ever had.

Absolutely hands down the best fish restaurant and market in Montréal. Family run and when I walk in there, I feel like I’m part of the family. I’ve been coming to this restaurant since it opened years ago. The food is exquisite, the service impeccable, clean and the highest quality fish…great prices…The BEST! I love it there SO much…I could eat the everyday.

As a regular visitor to Restaurant & Poissonnerie Mediterranéenne, I can attest that their consistency is truly remarkable. Every visit is like coming home to a culinary family, with the friendly staff always remembering my favorite dishes and the owners often stopping by for a quick chat. The fish is perpetually fresh, skillfully prepared, and satisfying to the core. What sets this place apart is not only the quality of the food but the genuine warmth that makes every dining experience special. The fair pricing is just the cherry on top. Whether it's my first visit or my fiftieth, Restaurant & Poissonnerie Mediterranéenne never fails to exceed expectations. It's no wonder I keep coming back.
