VIEUX-PORT STEAKHOUSE REVIEWS

We had a great time at the Old Port Steakhouse. Our server bent over backwards, twice, to make sure our experience was on point and above what we could hope for. Our salads were extremely fresh and crunchy. With plenty of natural ingredients! It was obvious that their supplier had direct control of the ingredients. The restaurant was impeccably clean and smelled fresh with baked goods and home cooking. We will for sure come here again.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our visit was enjoyable. Their genuine warmth and professionalism made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. The ambiance of the restaurant, combined with their exceptional service, created an atmosphere of fun and relaxation. A special shout out to Sebastian, the best bartender ever! His mixology skills are second to none, and he crafted some of the most delicious and innovative cocktails we've ever tasted. Sebastian's friendly demeanor and passion for his craft added an extra layer of enjoyment to our experience. We were so impressed with our initial visit that we decided to return for a second round. The consistency in service and quality was remarkable.

So far, this is my favorite steakhouse in Montreal! Great selection of juicy and delicious steaks, beautiful ambience and impeccable service by the staff. Had the pleasure of being served by Jo on my first visit, and then Alin on my second. They were both courteous, attentive and friendly. And have provided great recommendations for food and wine pairing. Will definitely come back.

My husband and I ate here for his birthday dinner last week and were extremely pleased with our experience! Our server Charlie was super friendly and incredibly helpful! We were both very happy with the food we ordered as well (if you're looking for an awesome steak cooked however you like it -even Rare, (hard to find in Canada) this is your place!) The snow crab legs were the best Ever as well! Charlie even hooked us up with a free dessert (the strawberry mint meringue dessert, Amazing!) for my husband's birthday plus some extra dinner mints because we loved them so much! Her and her coworker (I believe his name was Josef or similar?) made this one of our favorite restaurant experiences in Canada! We will definitely be back :) A+++.

We enjoyed the ambience and our server made the experience really pleasant. She was very knowledgeable and professional. The strip steak was delicious along with the twice baked potato. My friends had the salmon and really liked it. The ambience was great.

Best steak place in town , warm atmosphere amazing taste of food though it took around 45 minutes and more to get our dishes , but the steak taste/ cooking is so delicious Staff are very friendly and knew how to handle the delay.

I attended a private party here with about 60 guests. It was exceptional. They offered branded menus and the service was impeccable. The food was delicious. I have zero complaints except there was sooooo much food and it was all so great I left too full! Would absolutely get their halibut again. The service was extraordinary and they were diligent with refills and keeping things/people sorted.

Food and service was excellent. Steak was juicy and flavorful. My friend loved her salmon and the waiter made sure she knew all along of what there is a chance of contamination due to her peanut allergies. Love the building and decor. Very intimate.

Enjoy an upscale dining experience in a historic building which used to be a stable. This classic steakhouse features your typical cuts of steak with optional seafood additions for surf and turf. Wine selection is good and the service was exceptional so expect to be pampered. Alejandro was very attentive and kind. The homemade bread and the kosher pickles were great. The steaks were pretty good and the house salad was delicious.
