My experience with Riverside was nothing but great. My father-in-law had passed and I called them to make arrangements. I had to call them multiple times due to our family changing funeral dates due to relatives late arrival. Each time the person was very cooperative and willing to work with us. We had our planning meeting with Ranbir who is just an amazing person. Polite, professional and patient. Covered every detail with us. Brought up things we had not even thought of. When we showed up for the funeral, each item was in place as discussed. The staff was very courteous and caring and were there when needed. We had a very meaningful service followed by cremation. The sikh gentleman on staff was with us most of the time and was very kind and cooperative and provided help whenever requested. I am grateful to Riverside for making the funeral process so seamless and comforting for our family.

I have been in this facility for a few funerals. I’m giving this rating because of the staff member name RAI. Such a nice guy always empathetic towards family. Explain how to cover face , close casket and everything in such a polite way. Really like the service provided by him with such a positive AURA. Keep up the good work.

I have played the bagpipes many times at Riverside over the years for the passing of members of the India ex-serviceman's club. I have always found the staff to be caring, well organized, kind and courteous.

We live in Ontario and could not travel to Vancouver when my brother died unexpectedly. He had wanted to donate his body to the Cadaver research program, but because he died of covid could not. Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services were one if the recommendations from the hospital and they have been wonderful. They met all of my brother's wishes,were very responsive and very caring. They also kept us informed every step of the way I highly recommend them for anyone suffering a loss.

I highly recommend Alternative, they have an answering service outside of normal working hours, the were at the home within 4 hours. Every time I called with a question someone took my call immediately, they were very caring and kind. The service was exceptional and they even checked with me 1 month after my mother’s passing to see how I was holding up. Thank you so much, you made a very difficult time a little bit easier.
