“Campbell Valley Regional Park features many hiking, walking, and equestrian trails with picnic shelters. The park features trails with a total length of 29 kilometres, catering to all skill levels. The park comprises six historical farm plots, including areas designated for the Langley tree farm and Scout Camp McLean. Campbell Valley Regional Park is a beautiful spot with swings for toddlers, activity grounds for young children, and lush green spaces for adults to walk and relax. The park provides scenic walking routes, heritage features, and a Nature House. CAMPBELL VALLEY REGIONAL PARK REVIEWS

The trails are shaded and they're not full of that pea gravel that gets in your shoes if you're wearing sandals. It's easy to get lost though and there's lots of trails to explore. There's lots of people around so that you can ask directions if you do get lost. But the real Gem of the Walk was the fresh plums that are sitting in the trees you don't want to hurt the bushes but wow are they ever good and all the apple trees that are everywhere amazing experience very happy love these trails Dog-friendliness: It's a leash on area and trails but there's lots of people walking their dogs.

We got a 12km walk in this park! Pretty cool place to go and be immersed in the wilderness in the middle of a city. Lots of signs of Spring on the trail and the paths were not too slippery or muddy at all! Lots of different parking lots to choose from with bathrooms at a few of them. Also, a few steep hills to go up if you want to get some elevation gain into your workout for the day. I also found a water pump that was working and put out fresh clean water. Great place to wander and get lost in the scenery if you so wish!

Love, love the trails here and my dog loves them too. When it's hot you can find a shady trail to walk as well. You can take a short walk or a very long walk. Take the Shaggy Mane and you'll be on a long one. They're are main trails and off trails in the bush. We love them all.. As most people say, you'll see birds, squirrels and there are deer as well. I was amazed at the two beautiful owls I came across..

DERBY REACH REGIONAL PARK REVIEWS

My girl and I came here today and walked the "Houston Trail". It was 3.3km's long. Beautiful day for a walk not too hot and not too cold, just perfect. The scenery here is unbelievable. We passed a couple people here enjoying the walk as we were. There's a great little view point/rest area that overlooks the bog and the mountains. Just sitting there listening to the frogs, ducks, and geese was magical to say the least. It's the moments like this that matter to me. We will be back again to beat our time. Just far enough outside the city to not be packed and close enough it's only a ten minute drive. If your looking for a place to go for a walk this is your jam! Happy Trails.

Great place to explore. Trails are well groomed and easy for all. You can enjoy the forest or by the river. Lots of parking with bathrooms at each site. Sometimes you'll be lucky enough to see wildlife on your adventure.

Well maintained and equipped park with nice trails, picnic areas and plenty of shade. It’s right next to the river and one of the favourite spots in this park is just by the river with views of the Majestic Mt. Baker!

BRAE ISLAND REGIONAL PARK REVIEWS

Brae Island is a great place to camp. The campsites are large and clean. There are well maintained facilities and helpful attendants for any information you may need. The campsite is on the Fraser River with natural setting walks on either side. The trails are easy and dogs are welcome. Brae Island is a 5-10 minutes walk to Fort Langley with a variety of shops and great restaurants and coffee shops. There is even a Brew Pub. We totally enjoyed our 5 day stay.

It's a clean park with lots of trails. You have the option of going down to the river or into the forest. There's lots of parking here and it's a great alternative for a quieter walk if you are going into Fort Langley for a walk and some food. Walk here and then walk to the many close by restaurants and cafes.

Can't get enough of this place. The Tavistock trail is a beautiful relaxing trail with easy signs to follow and the picnic areas are relaxing. At the entrance is a bathroom and it is well kept. When the tide is low, you can walk halfway around on the beach. The trails allow cycling as well.
