I regularly visit Campbell Valley park. There are miles of trails through hundreds of acres with a variety of areas- On the valley bottom along the river Little River Loop is a flat trail accessible to all with parking off 16th Avenue-- about a 30 minute loop. There is another trail from there that takes you over to a former racecar track that is now abandoned but maintained as a heritage site which is very interesting.

Nestled against an arm of the Fraser River, this park can vary a great deal over the seasons. Walk along the many trails along the river, open to the sun - or take a walk through the huge cottonwoods and cedars. A nice quiet stroll for hand-holding couples. The picnic tables allow you to gaze over the moving water and catch the river traffic going by or the occasional fisherman trying his/her luck. Lovely park - all year.

Visit this place as a family tradition every year. The service, sites and registration are all very organized and great. The kids enjoy fishing on the river bank (which is located just outside the gated area), riding bikes through the trails, swimming in the pool ( which is the perfect depth for kids of all ages), walking into the town to the local candy store, and meeting other kids for soccer games etc.! Although the sites could use a little more privacy, I recommend this site to any families.
