“Walnut Grove Community Centre has a 50-meter pool, a 300-foot water slide, one three-meter diving board, a five-meter dive tower, and adult and family whirlpools. The centre offers various leisure activities for children and adults. This centre provides recreational programs for both adults and kids. Walnut Grove Community Centre has a well-equipped gym facility. The centre offers excellent pool facilities for small kids, aqua-size students, and competitive swimmers. If you're planning an event, occasion, or meeting, Walnut Grove Community Centre offers the option to rent their facilities and rooms. Registration and drop-in options are available for those interested in participating in their programs and events.

2025 Update: The staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming, especially for newcomers. The library is another highlight, with a great selection of books and quiet spaces to read or study.”

“W.C. Blair Recreation Centre provides a cardio and weight room, room rentals, a free-form wave pool with 6x25 m lanes, a climbing wall, a diving board, a sauna, and a whirlpool. The pool is accessible to people with special needs and features. Their pools are open for drop-in public swimming, lap swimming, parent and tot sessions, and water walking sessions. The centre provides electronically activated doors, specially designed private change and toilet facilities, easy beach access to a pool with water wheelchairs, trained and knowledgeable lifeguards, and aquatic and fitness program staff. You can also easily register for their programs and events or opt for drop-in sessions, making it convenient for everyone to enjoy the centre's offerings.

2025 Update: There is also a hot tub to warm up after swimming, and a fun kids' play park outside that has slides, a sandpit, and a water spray park.”

WALNUT GROVE COMMUNITY CENTRE REVIEWS

We come here for public swimming and lessons. Lately, it has been hard to register for swimming lessons as it is always full. My daughter was doing level 1 when she got hit by RSV before Christmas, so she was not able to finish. Now we are waiting for the next registration to open up and who knows when? This rec has a fitness centre, gym, small library, day care/preschool, swim suit store, cafeteria, etc. A good-sized track and field area, tennis area, spray park, and playground. Very nice neighborhood and lots of stores nearby.

We used pool only. It was 50 m pool divided to two parts for line swimming/walking and Diving/free swimming. Diving board, stages and rope are available. Two hot tubs, two souna (dry and wet), kids and toddlers pools and of course, an exciting long slide! There is some bench for who doesn't want swim and just watching their kids. Free parking available.

Very good community center! I went to swimming pool with my Daughter, and had really good time! The slide was so fun! Especially, the shop in this community center provides variety of swimming suites (more designs than Swinco)!!! I will go there again to get my new swimming suits!

W.C. BLAIR RECREATION CENTRE REVIEWS

Fantastic facility for youngsters, families and for fitness buffs. The pool is popular! They have redone the fitness area and there is a good variety of cardio and weight equipment. The fitness area is much less crowded. You can watch kids of all ages get swimming lessons while you do your cardio. The swimming lessons look varied, fun-filled and very good! There are also adult water-fitness classes and red cross lifesaving courses.

When I first started playing with.my friend he would take me swimming and we try to get to every pool he is a little more sweet than he Acts every day is Valentine's with him he went for the big bunch of roses I'm happy with just him so I said you know one is perfect like one of you.

Very friendly and helpful staffs from the front counter to the lifeguards, this is a place l attend 2 times a week. Meeting people in the changing room and they are very polite and kind to me as well. Love the whirlpool and sauna. Great place to do water exercises.

TIMMS COMMUNITY CENTRE REVIEWS

Love this place ten dollars a year for a general membership allows you access to the indoor walking track and the games room where there are card tables ping pong and pool tables the facility is air conditioned and is a new facility for the city of Langley this facility also has a full state of the art gym with treadmills that you can watch a movie on if you have a net fix account or you can walk on a pretty programmed trail around a lake the monitor keeps track of your walking or running speed and puts you in the picture very cool.

Great Staff Friendly and Understanding. $10 for a year. Games room is awsume. Awsume indoor walking track with a large gym under neath. Nice Library. with weight room is really Awesome nice equipment. Great staff in this wonderful facility. Has nice underground parking.

So blessed to be near this rec center. My daughter and I are almost there everyday. The joy of meeting locals, friendly staff, and exposure to active living and all walks of life - humbling experience. We love the fitness track, games room, library etc. Wishing a cafe will be there again.
