Greater Vancouver Zoo is home to many rescued, donated, and orphaned animals. They hope to inspire appreciation of their ecosystems and support conservation efforts. Greater Vancouver Zoo's goal is to encourage knowledge of the environment by keeping the community engaged and promoting conservation efforts. Visitors can explore the sounds of nature among 140 species in the center of the Fraser Valley, spread across 120 acres. For the foreseeable future, Greater Vancouver Zoo will offer a largely one-way experience, clearly set out and illustrated to ensure a simple, understandable, and satisfying visit. The zoo offers free admission for children aged 2 and under.

2025 Update: On July 1st, 2023, the zoo opened a second walk-through exhibit, Wallaby Walkthrough. The experience consists of a small looped trail that runs through a portion of a multi-species enclosure, featuring red-necked wallabies, red kangaroos and an emu.

Canadian Museum of Flight is dedicated to preserving and restoring British Columbia's rich aviation history. They welcome visitors of all ages, catering to aviation history enthusiasts, entertaining children, and inspiring youth toward careers in aviation, science, and technology more broadly. The museum has over 25 civilian and military jets, piston-driven engine aircraft, gliders, and helicopters on display, several of which are in flying condition. You will also find a broad array of photos, documents, and objects that tell the stories of this region's long involvement in aviation. Guests can touch aircraft made of aluminum, wood, fabric, and modern composites. The gift shop has an excellent selection of used books at unbeatable prices for the hard-to-buy-for aviation buff. The museum is at an active airport, so visitors can watch the action from their front apron and picnic grounds.
