BASS LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK REVIEWS
Very nice park to visit, the water is clean. It's great for kayaking or canoeing as well. Gorgeous nature.
We loved our time fishing, swimming, star-gazing, biking, walking, and 'camping' here! The sites are large and most have decent privacy. Many have some slope to them as described on the booking website but we were very happy with ours. From check-in to departure we had no issues or complaints.
We visited the park on day use pass. Great park . You can bbq in many places. There are few pavilions in case of rain. Beach is small but good enough. Water is fairly warmer since it's a smaller lake.

Scout Valley Loop Trail is located 2 kilometres west of Orillia, Ontario. Although you can start and finish, users can explore the three trails interconnect from three separate parking lots. You can view the traditional retreating Ice Age Lake Algonquin shoreline, including much of south-central Ontario and an interesting study. Scout Valley Loop Trail has 5.5 kilometres of the moderately trafficked loop trail. It provides interpretive signage along portions of the trail and well-marked lookout spots, making the trail an excellent place to observe, photograph, and learn about the community’s indigenous ecosystem. SCOUT VALLEY LOOP TRAIL REVIEWS
Great hiking area in Orillia, just 25mins from Barrie. Trails are not marked very well but you won't really get lost as highway is close by. Not many water bodies in this hiking area, but lots of ups and downs. Would say it is 'moderate' difficulty level. Can spend a good 2-3hrs hiking all trails here.
Great place to hike got a short break but nice walk in this very green grassy park with beautiful scenery for taking pictures!!!!!
A fine variety of trails with heart raising climbs and easy flats. Muddy sections after a rain down in the valley portions.
